Doesn't work very well
The machine does feel quite durable. The materials used seem reasonably high quality. It was easy to use once I got the hang of it. I only tested it with ground coffee, not pods.Although it did produce coffee it was a long way from espresso. The liquid produced was weak and watery. To make espresso properly, the water should be forced through the coffee at high pressure, but that clearly isn't happening with this machine as it just dripped in.I used it both with the heating and without. When using the heating in the unit the liquid came out lukewarm. I have my own grinder, so the quality of the grind isn't in question. It's a shame, this was a great idea.

good coffee but is 1kg
The media could not be loaded. You can use the machine in two modes, one where it warms the water up and another where it will only pressurises the water. Using it in heating mode will only reach around 60c with tap water. (see photo)Feels premium compared to other portable coffee machines as it includes both a nespresso filter and another for ground coffee. The device weighs 1kg so it's not light but does include a carry bag.I found the machine to not work correctly with self heating mode, it would heat up but not initiate the coffee pouring. I had to turn it off and use the no-heat mode with the now warm water. Maybe just using wrong. Crema was good enough and tasted right. See video of it working.Cleaning up is a bit of a pain as it's hot and it's dripping everywhere. I noticed that the machine correctly pierces the nespresso capsule with the right pattern which most of the other travel espresso machines do not.Takes about 5 minutes to heat up water but that is fine, takes usb c so is easy to charge up with a portable solar panel or any USB c adapter.Could be great for the car or hotel, less so for hiking! Price is fair for the quality.
