Was super easy to help fix a broken bracket but sure it could be used for much larger joins eg car bumpers etc.

This review is for the “ YIHUA 960-V Plastic Welder Plastic Welding Kit with LED Light”I found this to be very easy to use, it is essentially 2 soldering irons in one just with stapes instead of soldering tips. This works by transmitting heat down the staple and the surrounding plastic so you need to have a way of keeping the pieces you want to weld together. It has an LED light in between the two heating elements which helps but it is by no means a floodlight. You are however free to use additional sources of light, for example a torch or headlamp.The heating elements are exposed so please wear the appropriate PPE & practise proper safety: heat-proof gloves, goggles, use a heat mat, ensure wires don’t catch accidentally etc.Besides this it is a pretty nifty tool. I have used mine to weld the Christmas tree’s base and the base of my tailor’s mannequin. The finished product is unsightly, a sort of Frankenstein’s monster look to them but they function now, which is the main thing. If you can do this discreetly or from the side that is not seen (if your broken item has one), it’ll look much better.Glad to have this in my toolbox.

Do not recommend. Staples can easily remove, meaning it is not welded together. Often the stapes stick out causing things to catch easily. 1 star because it won’t let me give 0 stars.
