ZTE F50 5G Unlocked Dual Band Portable Pocket Wifi Router Sa/Nsa 5G Mobile Hotspot With Sim Card Slot(No Battery)

The router is very good can be used with Jio or Airtel 5g Sim. Just ensure you activate 5g on the sim by using it on a 5g smartphone before inserting it into the router. Getting close to 400 mbps download and 80 mbps upload speeds on both networks. For heating issue in long usage hours I am using potronics mobile cooling fan with this device and it works good.

The product is not worth. It will be heating/hanging and you need to reboot the device frequently to keep it functional.I tried to return the product immediately but amazon showed their worst face they are not ready to pickup the item after multiple reschedules. Be careful with amazon and customer support team. they do all worst practices for their customer to go out of amazon.

Tested Jio 5G with this device and was able to get almost 500 mbps on band n78 (similar speeds on Xiaomi 12 Pro i.e., 525 mbps on band n78). Average speed test results are around 250-450 mbps on locking band n78 and 50-100 mbps on locking band n28. Be sure to update router firmware to latest version to get Network debug option to lock 5G bands for better speeds.Also, it does support Carrier Aggregation for 4G network.

Only airtel 5G worked, no jio 5G for me in my area also there is only one or two 5G bands for jio available in this device, so having the price tag of Rs 8999 it's not impressive,considering the less 5G bands than a rs9000 5G smartphone and no battery, price should be around 4000 to 4500 max. Also you need to place this device in cool area if you have AC in your room that's great if you don't then you will connection issues and high ping while playing valorant(it's the only game I tested on my laptop).Also no after sell support in india.Pros:Only good thing on this device is, it has no battery cause battery would have been degraded with the amount of heat it generates (assuming you will use this product 24×7 with unlimited 5G pack)

I am using it for past 24+ hours. Its performing very good. In india if you search 5g data card, lot of products you will get. But those are 5G wifi with 4G sim, but doesnot support 5G sim. This supports 5G sim as well as 5G wifi. In the international ecommerce market, price of this device is less. It’s around 2000 rupees overpriced here. But there is not much choice in Indian market with low price 5G data cardHere are pros and consPros1. Pocket sized datacard and very slim2. Supports indian 5G sim. ( theoretically it supports 3 Airtel bands and 2 jio band). I tested with Airtel and provides good speed upto 500mbps download and 50mbps upload3. No battery. In my perspective it is a advantage since i no need to worry about battery degradation in long term since 5g is a power hungry and generate heat which will worn out battery quickly4. Type C usb port5. No switches or any moving parts in modem. Just plug cable and feed power. It will power on automatically6. Decent wifi range in 5g and 4g. Atleast better than my Airtel wifi 4g7. Support RNDIS where you can directly connect laptop usb cable without wifi for internet. I tested this in mac which works fine. For sure it will work in windows as well8. Decent build qualityCons1. Power hungry. 10000 mah power bank will provide power upto 8 hours where my 4g huwaei datacard lasts more than a day2. Generates heat when using more bandwidth3. No fancy features like firewall, DMZ, DHCP reservation or any other thing. Its just a simple modem which provides internet from 5G sim4. Not an active dual WiFi band. Either it will be only on 2.4 or 5 Ghz.5. No warranty provided. I understand this is imported and warranty cannot be provided. But still its a con. I purchased with the trust on ZTE hardware as well as sellers 7 day return policyI am overall satisfied with this product. Will update if any reliability issues going forward

This product from ZTE is just awesome. It works with both Airtel 5G and Jio true 5G.I did speed test from a room both on my iphone and then on ZTE and getting similar speed.For comparison, I am attaching screenshot of both iphone speed test and then speed test done from system which was connected to ZTE F50 5G.For Airtel 5G I was getting roughly round 170 Mbps downlink. Surprisingly, the ZTE was giving more speed than iphone.For Jio true 5G was getting around 200 Mbps downlink.Usually Jio 5G speed test touch somewhere around 350 Mbps but today on the day of speed test it was raining so that might be the reason for slower speed both on iphone as well.Attaching screenshot of ZTE WebUi where we can see the Jio 5G and Airtel 5G signal.I hope this review helps other peers who planning to buy this product.It also support USB tethering for both Windows and Macbook.According to me this one is good as compare to other battery based portable 5G Mifi as you don't have to worry about battery life over long run.

Jio 5g bands are n28, n78 and n258.But this modem supports band n28 & n78 which is TDD with only max download rate is 120Mbps with Jio True 5G.Modem to be placed in a location where signal reception is stronger. Else even 1 point drop in signal like 4 out of 5 then download rate goes to be less than 1Mbps.
