I’ve had this product for less than 48 hours and so I can’t comment on its effectiveness at this stage, only its construction, ease of use etc.I like the white body of the machine, it looks good quality, attractive, smart, clean etc. the black base comes in two parts and has stayed attached fine for the two months I’ve been using the it. However, it’s probably not 100% essential to the function of the unit, but helps maintain foot distance from the device if using on a soft surface as I am doing.When you slide your foot or hand into the device it automatically switches on and is preset to 90 second treatment times. I didn’t need to read the instruction manual at all to get going. Although it says to have a 5 minute treatment time, I have had longer, because the warmth from the lights is so pleasant, I’m not in a rush to get the treatment over with.I’ve put todays photos 16th October 2024 of my nails hands and feet to document any changes with photographs in the future, obviously at least 3 months into the future.I’m hoping to see results on my fingernails quickly. The photo shows the top finger in the image has a normal cuticle, the skin which attaches the skin of the finger to the nail and prevents the skin lifting away from the nail.The bottom three fingers you can see the cuticle is not present and there is a visible gap between the skin of the finger and the nail. In the previous couple of days this had become slightly weepy and painful.I started treatment with terbinifine tablets for this nail infection November 2023, and this treatment caused my cuticles to return and reattach, however I stopped treatment about 6 weeks ago, likely end of August 2024, as I am planning a pregnancy and it is not a suitable treatment during pregnancy.I was upset that the fingernail cuticles at least were not cured as I had hoped and the infection has clearly come back.The progress on the toenails over the 9 or so months of treatment wasn’t that impressive, although a couple of months of using this device it looks like the healthy nail at the base is becoming more visible.I’m also aware that using terbinifine treatment should take 18 months for toenail infections and so I’m skeptical that treatment would be complete within three months with this device, certainly I can’t imagine my nails looking healthy in three months.The device runs when it is plugged in to a power source, the cable is a meter long. For sizing my foot as shown is uk size 6, so standard foot sizes would have no problem using this device, and slightly swollen feet should be ok too.The device doesn’t have an on/off button and so it needs to be unplugged. This can be done by either taking the plug out of the socket, or if this is difficult to access due to placement, the cable can be taken out of the white part of the machine instead. I’m unplugging the whole thing and putting in a cupboard when not in use.If I didn’t already have a 5 meter extension lead in use in the lounge I would have had problems using this device due to the one meter power cord, so do consider where you are planning to use this device when ordering.It’s comfortable to use, I enjoy the warm feeling produced. I’ve found it manageable to do two twenty minute treatments a day (both hands both feet).I would travel with this but if going abroad it could easily get damaged in a soft case or bag and that might be a dangerous situation with the UV bulbs.I wouldn’t want to put this in a suitcase to go on a plane if it was a soft suitcase.Two weeks into using I was horrified to notice my hands and feet were deeply tanned and my arms and legs white, which looks weird. Avoid this by using sun screen. There should be advice to wear sunscreen with this product.I perhaps didn’t understand what I was purchasing and the effect it would have on my skin.After a couple of months of use, I’ve hoped to see if I documented the condition of my left hand cuticles. I believe one was missing, but not as badly as the cuticles missing on my right hand. If it was missing a bit, it has come back.I think the cuticles on my right hand look less bad after a couple of months use but not healed yet, I think they are on the mend though.

I bought this product recently and I really liked it. It is nicely made, look very solid.The device turns on automatically when you insert your foot.Has three time settings 30s/60s/99s. Because it has an extended base it is very comfortable for the foot.I think this device will be effective.After the first week of use( three times a day for 5 minutes), I can already see that the infection is not getting bigger, the color is less intense and the nail plate is drier.I believe that continued regular use of this lamp will bring the expected effect in full.I highly recommend it !!!

I would not recommend this item for the following reasons1. The item arrived with one of the soleplate fixing lugs missing/broken2. On the Amazon page description it recommends to use for 5 minutes 2 or 3 times per day, but the item only has a timer for 30 - 60 or 90 seconds it then cuts out. So to achieve 5 minutes you must keep watching it and reset the timer every minute.3.On the Amazon page description it says"The device has a long life battery". It doesn't and only works when connected to the mains..Because only a short power lead is supplied you need to buy an extension lead4. the instructions for use are very poor and do not match the Amazon description

Bought this as I have a fungal toe nail which looks unsightly so thought I’d try it, as nothing over the counter seemed to work. I’ve been using it for over a week now for 5 mins twice a day and my nail is starting to improve slightly, so I’ll definitely continue. It can also be used to cure gel nail polish on hands or feet. It’s very easy to use with settings of 30, 60 or 90 seconds. You just plug it in then rest your foot or hand in the plate and it automatically starts at 90 Seconds. Should you wish to change it to 30 or 60 seconds, just press the relevant button. Once it reaches the set number of seconds, it automatically switches off. I just move my foot out and place it back on the plate and it automatically starts again for the set number of seconds you originally pressed. There’s a slight warm feeling, but other than that it is painless.

I’ve been using this nail fungus device for a short time, so I can’t speak to results yet, but the build quality is impressive—it feels durable and well-made. The design is user-friendly, and the price is very reasonable for what you get. Definitely seems like a reliable product that will last. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a sturdy, affordable treatment option!

I’m really not sure about this. I have quite bad nail fungus. The heat is nice but beware, my hands have gone brown! Like a tan! Also my feet! O think it’s difficult to say as only been using for a couple of months, also using alongside a nail fungus cream. If fungus is really bad then would recommend using both. I have seen an improvement and will persevere to see if it improves

Excellent item. Within 2 months of purchase, using everyday, twice a day as instructed, the fungal nail I was suffering from is mostly cleared up. Just waiting for the last bit of healthy nail to grow through. Much better and simpler than the paint on stuff I was prescribed by the doctor. Why is it that so often we turn to chemicals when something like this works so much better?
