Does a nice job
I needed a record cleaner to clean my vinyl, I'd been looking at the humminguru since it's original crowd funding, I looked at a lot of reviews on you tube and they all said it was a good buy. In operation it's quiet and even with the fan running it's still quiet, I've had a time now to try it out and it makes a big difference even to new records, it has a quick 2 minute wash and dry cycle for new records to clear the release agent, and the 10 minute wash cycle really does get in and clean, there is also an auto mode for both 5 and 10 minute clean and dry. It's well made and the ability to clean 12, 10 and 7 inch records by just adjusting the wheels with a special tool (included) is a huge bonus, you can also select a 3 or 6 minutes dry, the 6 minute one dries 12 inch records ready to play but I still let it dry in the drying rack for a couple of minutes, the drying rack has little humminguru birds on the top, the only draw back is that the record will twist to one side, I put a tissue at the bottom and this holds it in place. It's a nice item and does a really good job, it won't repair scratches or damage and it couldn't get rid of bad mould, but all in all a good buy and my vinyl sounds lovely, in most cases nearer enough without clicks

Hummiguru Nova
So , I watched many YouTube videos & read many reviews before plunging into this purchase.Very easy to use, I’d almost say it’s convenient to clean your records, very happy with the results, not cheap, but it’s cheap in the world of ultrasonics , however build quality is not at all cheap. I’m pretty lazy when it comes to cleaning records, if it’s a hassle, I’ll not want to do it too often. But with this Humminguru Nova it’s a doddle.Recommended

A sound investment
A couple of weeks use (about 100 records cleaned). The results have been excellent and the machine is very efficient at cleaning and reviving both old and new vinyl. Certainly a step up from my previous manual cleaner (Disco Antistat). The Nova is clearly a significant investment in your record collection but so far it's proved to be a sound one (boom). I'm hoping the build quality is robust and the machine will cope with the 1000's of records waiting their spin in the bath.

The best thing I've bought in a long time, that actually works
I've been thinking about buying a record cleaner for a while now. I have literally thousands of albums and some are over fifty years old. I didn't fancy the plastic type that you wind the handle and let the record dry on a rack. So, after much consideration I ordered this one. There is a superior model also made by HumminGuru but it really is out of my price range. It's around twice the money I paid for this. I had to wait a couple of weeks for my purchase to arrive. Today I set it up. At first when reading the instructions I thought it was complicated. But after cleaning the first record it really wasn't at all. I've experimented with short and long clean and the same with the drying time. The first record I cleaned was a copy of a Ron Wood solo album from the mid seventies. Over the years I've used a anti static record brush and the pads that you put cleaning solution on. Mainly because thats what was available. Well, placing the record on my lovely Rega turntable I just couldn't believe what I was hearing and what I wasn't hearing. It was like the Lord almighty had passed his hand over my fifty year old record. I'm not saying for one minute there wasn't a click or the odd crackle But that was it. The odd click and crackle. Everything sounded just oh so wonderful. It's washed away years and years of grime. It sounded like a new record. You do get a little bottle of cleaner with the unit. I also bought an extra bottle recommended by the seller. It retails at forty pounds for the bottle. Got my one discounted to thirty pounds. It does look expensive when you see the size of the bottle. But you only use two little drops to the water. Also, when you cleaned a record, you can use the same water again. Ive been cleaning up to five records from one solution. The other thing is it gets rid of static. This is one of the main causes of that horrible crackling noise on your records. So I've been like a man possessed. Cleaning records old and relatively new that I know have issues.I look after my records, I have a decent mid priced turntable and a decent cartridge and stylus. My copy of Yello. 40 Years just used to crackle what ever I did. I Cleaned it,checked the tracking weight. Well I've just cleaned it.... WOW! Absolutely amazingIt's great when you buy something that actually does what is says on the label. My only regret, is I didn't get one sooner.
