Adventures in Cooking,One Stop Shop !
The media could not be loaded. "The NuWave Bravo XL is an excellent countertop oven. While I've had other small countertop ovens, so far, this the best. Cooking temperatures are even. The air fry basket and multiple (shelves) are an extra as is the enamel broiling rack and baking pan. The unit is easy to operate and clean. The "Smart" preset cooking/baking temperatures, and the included temperature probe, are nice additional "features". I just received my Bravo XL yesterday and I couldn't be more happy with it. I just tried it for the first time to get a feel for it and I have to say WOW !!! I'm just getting started exploring all the features of this oven, but so far, it's surpassed my expectations. The very first feature I utilized was the air fryer, to my complete satisfaction it did not disappoint. Take a look at the Crispy Air Fried Fish Fillets ! YUM ! I'm particularly pleased at the even heating inside the oven chamber -- no hot or cold spots -- everything comes out evenly cookedI very much enjoy cooking, and have used similar products like this one in my many years of preparing food. I thought the instructions were a bit vague but I easily figured it out as it is easy to use from the first use. I didn't whip up anything fancy but something simple. I had fresh battered fish fillets so I set the oven to air fry and the temperature sets automatically. I set the timer for 10 minute and just like that I had delirious hot fish that was as good if not better because I didn't use a single drop of oil. A little sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper the the fish fillets were flavorable and crisp. I'm thoroughly addicted and can't wait to try all the many other foods I can prepare next ! There is a bit of learning curve so I caution everyone to please read the instruction book that comes with the oven. It is fairly easy to figure out and the instructions booklet breaks everything down. After learning how it works, the oven is great, easy to use, accurate, and cooks excellently. It is very flexible for cooking different foods and cooking styles, and the recipe book will come in handy as well. This convection oven has a ton of different settings to meet all of your cooking needs...I really enjoy having a probe included with the oven as it's always good to have a food thermometer handy. The airfryer makes frozen goods more crisp than if you were using a traditional oven. And, it cooks any meat (poultry, pork, beef, seafood etc.) without a problem. As for baked goods, using the "bake" setting is a snap ! The biggest pro is how fast it heats up and gets to cooking. It doesn't take nearly as long as my traditional stove-top oven. I can't wait to see what the dehydrator will accomplish, and also the yogurt function 😃 The Bravo XL is truly a "One Stop Shop"and I would 100% recommend the NuWave Bravo XL to anyone looking for a new toaster oven and/or anyone trying to get their feet wet, so to speak, with new adventures in cooking !😊

Well Made Convection Oven
I use this instead of the full-size oven on my boat and it works very well. I use it literally every day for something. It cooks foods fast, toasts, broils, bakes .... I had another countertop convection which also worked pretty well but was flimsily built. This one is solid and has a lot of nice small touches. The one thing you should know is that the temperature control is a little finicky. Personally, I think it'd be better without the "program" functions and here's why. The preheat in particular is problematic. I dried out several racks of ribs, then put one of my instant-read bbq probes in there (which plugs into an external readout). What I found was that, on startup, the temperature soared way past the set point (okay, it's preheating, I get that), but then fluctuated by 20-30 degrees up and down during the cooking time -- and this was without having any of the pre-built programs engaged. It should have simply dropped to the set point and stayed there. But it didn't. After several tries using different programs, it occurred to me to just turn the preheat off. Bingo. Without preheat engaged, it still fluctuated a bit, but not wildly. Setting the temp at 365 will result in a temp from 345-355 (assuming my probes are correct, and they do match my other instant-reads in other applications). Again, I use an instant-read probe in the oven cavity plus a second one inserted into meat when I cook ribs/roast etc. With that one caveat, this is a solid unit that cooks well. I keep the bottom lined with heavy-duty foil, and I use a catch-pan (also lined with foil) sitting on the bottom rack so it's a snap to clean. Wipe down the glass with a grease cutter and you're good. FEATURES YOU'LL LIKE: so the mid-rack position has a clever little metal gadget that, when you open the door, pops the rack out about two inches. The back wall has an oval push out to accommodate pizza pans/stones. I've had it about five months, and I'd buy it again.

The air fryer that will not disappoint!!
I recently got this air fryer to replace my old countertop oven-style air fryer. It’s been about three years since I got my old one, and I was happy with the price. They’ve come down a lot since then, and I think it’s worth paying a bit more for something that’ll last longer and be made better. I really feel like that’s the case with this air fryer. It’s huge! It has two or maybe even three racks, so you can put a lot in it. It’s also super quiet! The design is really intuitive and easy to use. The programming dials are simple to navigate. It’s smaller than my old one, but it holds about twice as much. I’m really happy with my purchase, and I hope it lasts as long as my last fryer because I use it a lot!!

Customizable cooking. Like a scientific calculator.
Can cook your food in 5 stages. Has a timer, meat temperature sensor to control cooking time plus carry-over cooking up to 30 minutes. Double paned door. Top-down directed heat is better, but can combo with detachable grill bottom. The only con is interior is only 11" wide/high, and the grill takes up vertical space when used, but a great alternative to a microwave for cooking, especially reheating and crisping food. It has over a hundred presets and extra 50 memory setting for owner. It doesn't have the heft of a KitchenAid appliance but the overall design does look good.
