Perfect for podcasts in the shower
The mission: upgrade my podcast-during-a-shower experience without spending so much I'm too terrified to take the speaker into the shower.Mission parameters: Bluetooth speaker must have IPX7 (or similar) rating, with buttons to control volume, play/pause and especially forward/backward. Gotta skip those adverts.I considered MANY speakers before settling on the OontZ Angle 3 Ultra. If I recall correctly, it was a random comment on Reddit that put me onto the Cambridge speaker. (Note to self: track down that Redditor and reward with a beer.)The speaker couldn't really do the job more perfectly. The sound quality was an upgrade on my previous, cheaper speaker - mainly louder and richer. I'm not an audiophile, and I'm not generally playing high quality music on this. Horses for courses. (Note: don't buy this speaker for your horse. It will not be appreciated.)I love the separate buttons for the functions I require. No need to remember to triple press one button to skip a track, and quadruple-press another button while sacrificing a goat during the Winter Solstice in the presence of an Indian Yogi to decrease the volume. I'm in my "morning fog" when I shower. Simple is good. The price was great. The functionality is spot on. The sound is more than adequate for my needs. It does a bunch of multi-speaker-gimmicky things I'll never use, but you might. Hoorah.Mission accomplished.Bonus tip: If you're looking for an excellent, customisable podcast app for Android, get Podcast Republic. Trust me.

Great Sound
A great little speaker. I use it almost daily, both inside and out.I bought it as it was waterproof (more like water resistant) and had good battery life.No problems with bluetooth connectivity. It does have a built in microphone, but it does seem a little under powered if you try and use it as hands free (you phone/laptop mic is a better option).

The best small semi budget speaker
I love my music. Of all types. The key mistake that people make is that they try and find the ultimate speaker without understanding that true listening pleasure requires immersive sound and that is only achievable through physical separation of the speakers on either side of the listeners sound stage. I tried a high tech solution with a 'cube' but good as it was it failed. The principle here is two mediocre speakers which are stereo paired will give you a far superior listening experience to a higher quality speaker in the next couple of classes up. Put simply instead of being 1 XL OA3U you will enjoy two smaller OA3U.I own the Soundcore 2 and it sounds very good on its own. Meaty and ready to party. Unfortunately Anker only allow stereo pairing with the slightly junior speaker the Soundcore Motion. Most of the rest I can see and have tried are Chinese clones of each other which offer a lot and deliver little. Try if you like or allow me to save you the time.I have played the Soundcore 2 and the Oontz Angle 3 Ultra side by side and it is no contest. The OA3U is clearer stronger and with equally good base and a more audiophile experience. The Soundcore tries to colour the sound to make is sound fuller.I have bought two OA3U and paired them. Very nice indeed. For the size you can't do better. Fills the room and you are right at the epicentre of listening pleasure. My ideal would have been two Jam Heavy Metal but that does not stereo pair.On a budget two OA3U is the ultimate solution right now.If you really want loud and bassy then two mini rig plus the mini rig subwoofer will do the job and blow you away.Pay your money and make your choice.

Best value for money
Great sound quality, no distortion even at max volume, very good fidelity and frequency response, full and reach sound, with enough bass, clear mids and highs. Battery life is great, no connectivity issues. Surprisingly loud for it's size, though it's more adequate for interior than for outdoor. It has a short delay between sound and image on video, but software update solves that.Nice design, sturdy enough for everyday use (mine has been fall from the table cause of vibrations from the bass and it still works).I own the first speaker for about a year and bought the second a month ago. Two of these paired in left-right mode is a very good job, they sounds a lot better, with even more clear sound, volume and true stereo separation.I think you can't get anything better for the money.

Great value
Not quite sure what some of the negative reviewers were reviewing! Reading some of the negative reviews i was unsure whether to order this or not. Well, i'm glad i did. Sound is crisp and clear, bass is more than adequate. It is easy to use straight out of the box and battery life is great. I play music straight from amazon prime for around an hour at a time and have only charged it once. This is a great little blue tooth speaker and well worth the money 👍👍👍

Amazing sound for its small size
This is an amazing little speaker.First impressions on unboxing it were what it feels fairly heavy for its small size and the materials were of high quality. I had it paired with my phone within about 30 seconds from unboxing and without looking at the instruction manual. Unusually, the instruction manual is very comprehensive and is in English only. The sound quality is amazing for the diminutive size of the device - it packs a lot of bass for its size. It's not audiophile quality (you can't expect that for the price paid), but it is very good. It is a really good buy, and to get that sort of performance for the money paid, you can't go wrong.

Sound lad
I bought 2 of these as you can link them for stereo. They are pretty good however there is a latency with the sound. Direct off a smart TV there's around .5 sec lag (3 TV's of different makes tested) The only way I can sync these up is by using Kodi where I can adjust the latency. Decent sound reproduction from them once synced.
