Not Weighted but Still Tactical
I don’t know why I thought this vest would come with some lead weights, or steel weights but it did disclose that in the item description but I had to go back and read it again since the first 3 words are: “Adjustable Weighted Vest”. The term weighted implies that the vest itself has some weight to it but it doesn’t even weigh 5lbs. However, that’s not their fault I didn’t read the description fully. With that being said this vest is super clean, and tactical looking. I’ve actually started using it for paintball and air soft games to make my setup look more militia. I haven’t added any plates and probably won’t because it’s become more of a tactical vest than anything. If I was them, I would include 2 x 2.5lb weight plates for a total of 5lbs and charge $20.00 more so you don’t have to order weight plates separately right off the bat. I understand why they don’t include them, but if you have a “Weighted Vest” it should have some weight added to it for the sake of the design.

Max comfort
I purchased 2 of these for my wife and I. They fit both of us very well even though our sizes are extremely different. I’m 6’1”, 225 and she is 5’ 130. The packs do not shift on either of us while rucking even when loaded with weights. Very snug and comfortable. Looking to get my daughter one next.

Weight is well-secured; good adjustability on shoulder and side straps
I have been a ruck-marcher for a number of years, and, having gotten older, I enjoy rucking as my primary form of aerobic exercise these days. But I still like to run, and I wanted to try out a vest that would let me get some of the benefit of adding weight, but allow me to run more comfortably. This vest is well-constructed. They nylon is a dense weave, and the straps are well-stitched into the carrier. The top straps are hook-and-loop secured, with decent padding, while the side straps slide-adjust and are fastened with a clip. I appreciated that the shoulder straps tighten by pulling forward, which meant I could tighten them while running by pulling them up so the hook-and-loop fastening released, then tugging forward. I am 5' 10" and 210 lbs, and I had the straps pulled in pretty tight, making me think this vest would definitely fit larger folks, or go over heavy clothing, but I wouldn't want to be a whole lot smaller. The weights themselves are held in place by either straps with hook-and-loop tabs, or a nylon-flap that secures with hook-and-loop that holds like a sling, or both. Although it's a bit hard to describe, in essence the weight plate is held inside the nylon chest and back portion by an adjustable sling that cradles the weight, and then the carrier is sealed against itself. I loaded the vest with two 10- pound round, iron Olympic plates (one each front and back) and went for a 3-mile run. Neither the front nor back plate moved at all. Most importantly, I was able to get the vest adjusted so that it neither bounced on my shoulders or against my back or sternum. I won't say it was comfortable, but it wasn't abusive. Although I didn't try it, I foresee no issues with using the vest for weighted pull-ups, planking, lunges, and other body-weight exercises where I might want to take up the intensity. With proper adjustment of the straps, this vest should not move.As far as build quality and design goes, I think this vest works really well. I was impressed with how easy it was to set up and get going with. If you need to replace a vest you've worn out or damaged, I think this one will do the job for you. There are weight plates made to fit these types of vests, but I found that plates from my weight set did the job just fine at the weight I wanted to use. With Olympic plates, you are probably topping out at 30 lbs (a 5- and 10-lbs weight front and back). I was able to get 2 10-lbs plates in front and back, for a total of 40 lbs (the standard weight for my ruck sack), but it was a bit tight. I would walk with that weight, but I'm not sure about running.I did notice that unlike my rucksack with its hip belt, all the weight hung from my shoulders. I appreciated having the weight centered directly on my torso and over my normal center of mass, instead of behind me, but I felt the weight in my traps during the run, and my traps were sore the following day as well. It wasn't bad, but I think for long distances, the rucksack remains the way to go.All in all, I think this vest is well-constructed and adds a lot of versatility to an exercise program.

Fits well, adjustable, doesn't move around
I use this as weight vest for running or working out. Doesn't include plates, but I've used a couple different brand plates that all fit. I have another name-brand vest which is triple the price which is honestly not really worth it. Doing it again, I'd but this one and save a lot of money.

Good for hiking, bounces more than I would like for jogging
This vest is great for rucking/hiking. I have the curved chest and back plate in mine from the same manufacturer and they are held secure beyond belief. They will not fall out... ever. The shoulder straps are padded and the side release buckles are stout. You can either hose it down every so often when done or take the weights out and wash and hang dry.I personally am not as fond of the side release buckles and would have preferred velcro straps that crossed over each other in the front. When jogging there's a decent amount of bounce that just happens unless you keep adjusting the side release buckles, which is not easy once moving and strapped in. I would love the ability to slow down a hair, rip off a piece of velcro and tighten quickly. Also, the webbing is entirely too long. Regardless of size I would think pretty much everyone is going to have about 18" of rolled up webbing on each side. I'm going to cut mine down at some point and melt so that the edges don't fray.
