This roll of filter media arrived lightly rolled up and placed into a sealed clear plastic pouch, longside the filter roll itself you also get a few pieces of Velcro for attaching it but in most cases just cutting it to the right size and pressing it into place will likely be adequate. It’s super easy to trim to any size you need with a plain old pair of scissors.It’s also marginally thicker than some of the alternatives out there which are closer to 12mm while this stuff is about 18-20mm in thickness, so remember to account for that if you’re space limited, but it does squish down a little if needed.My application falls outside what they’re recommending this for, but it’s the exact same stuff that shipped with my folding airbrush booth as a pre-filter protecting the fan in the unit from paint. With it being the first thing in the way of the overspray, it inevitably clogs it up over time, which reduces the performance of the fan. It got to the point that I needed a replacement but finding the specific pre-cut versions in the size I wanted is kind of awkward so when this popped up, and I recognised it as the same stuff used in my unit I figured making my own would be the better option in the longer term.Time will tell if it lasts as long as the original but in the short term over the last few weeks of occasional miniature priming it’s brought my airbrush booth back to a like-new condition and nothing has got through the filter and into the fan.A roll of this size will literally last me 3–5 years so the £18.99 price doesn’t feel unreasonable to me, especially considering that’s almost what you’d pay for four or five pre-cut filters for airbrush booths that are made from the same stuff.No complaints with this one, happy to recommend.

Great to have a roll of filter in this format. It is very convenient , easy to cut into the shape I needed. It is feeling thick enough for filtering out the grease in that cooking extract hood. It’s been more than one week I put it as hood filter, it still working fine. I think that is worth for the money.
