Q: Is this product made in the USA?

The authentic "BULLSEYE" power nozzle is made in the USA. See the Display Card on the AZ listing page for the item. IF the item is authentic, then the name is BULLSEYE POWER NOZZLE. *Any other NAME, and/or *any other spelling of the NAME, or any comment addressing this item as something other than the BULLSEYE POWER NOZZLE displayed on the AZ listing page is NOT an authentic BPN. (I am do not intend to disparage 'other' power nozzles that look like the BULLSEYE POWER NOZZLE as I have no experience with them.)

Q: Does this fit directly on a regular garden hose or do I need attachments?

The BULLSEYE POWER NOZZLE , made in the USA, fits a 3/4" GHT (Garden Hose Thread). That would be the "male-threaded end" of a hose. The BULLSEYE POWER NOZZLE has a female threaded opening for the male hose. The "male threaded end" of the hose going into to the female end of the PPN has an INSIDE diameter of 3/4" GHT. The OUTSIDE diameter of a 3/4 male threaded fitting measures 1" in diameter. Confused ? Ask a plumber. Pipes and fittings may be measured via the inside or outside diameter depending on the "trade".

Q: Can you shut it off w/o shutting the hydrant off?

Yes, as you rotate the nozzle end the water stream becomes smaller until it shuts off all the way.

Q: Will it blast bird poop off my car without using a bucket and soap?

Depends on how long the bird poop has been there. If it has hardened and has been in the sun, it won't. If you just got there that day, maybe. Still, it can't replace a pressure washer which would normally be used for something that has practically adhered to the surface of the paint. If the goal is bird poop that's been there, don't count on this.
