An excellent value/quality balance Max real world range is about a mile.
I have given these five stars considering the value/quality balance, they do not have the bells and whistles of more expensive ones but some things about them are great.I have used radios and walkie talkies all my adult life for work and in my sport so I have plenty to compare these to.They are built to a price but it comes with some unexpected bonus points, like a USB C instead of a bulky base charger. (that is a great feature) and the lack of a screen. On most low and mid budget radios you get a plastic screen which is generally the first thing to break, not on these.Build quality is OK, nothing seemed feeble or likely to break everything moved pressed and twisted as it should. If you understand these things then setup was easy. If not it may take you 20 mins to understand how they work. Only 16 channels but that is plenty.I charged them up overnight then we took them out in our cars, I would say that they were reasonable up to a mile whilst we were in our cars driving more than that and the signal started to break. I went up a small hill with line of sight about 2 miles away that was too far, some signal did come through. So the maximum line of sight range is about 1.5 miles which is what they claim. That is with a clear line of sight. In built up areas it will be less. They are easy to use I did not try a headset/mike but it looks standard. If those specs suit you I would give them a try, they are returnable.

Adequate BUT......
A pack of two PMR446 channel radios. Order arrived on time and well packed.Being a person who own's several types of PMR radios I'm basing my review upon my experiences, and perspective. These two from HESENATE are well made. Quality overall is decent. The VOX works but you certainly have to place your mouth close to the mic at the right location otherwise it just doesn't pick you up. As there's no sensitive settings available (unless I've missed it?).My next observation is the range these are no better or worse than other PMR radios I've tried. PMR is restricted with it's power output thus capping it's range, in general 2 miles AND that's very subjective to your terrain / building interference then weather etc.At the time of this review, prices at £24.99. The price is certainly good, but it's also competing directly against some of the biggest names providing PMR radios, so versus the competition these in my opinion should be a lot cheaper, considering there both very basic PMR radios.3/5

Two way radios
These radios work great with one another. There are is multiple different stations available that can be used for frequency. The range reaches pretty far and can be used all around the building at my work place. Sound quality is clear and the radios are easy to use.The radios come with clips which can be installed onto the back of them so you can easily clip them on to your clothing. The only downside is that I can’t seem to get them to connect up to some other branded radios I hate. They are on the same channel but I can only receive radio communication and not send it unfortunately.

HESENATE HT66 Walkie Talkies
Great quality Walkie Talkies. Currently just under £20 this is excellent value for money. Each unit feels well made and robust and with the rechargeable battery there is no scrabbling around for batteries, each unit is easily charged via a supplied standard USB-C cable.Range is excellent, we have tested across local fields and over a mile is easily achievable. There is the usual press button to talk and also another button that you can press once and it will keep your mic open until pressed again. There are two buttons on the top of each unit, one clicks into the ‘on’ position and then continue turning for volume. The other button is to select your desired channel from a choice of 16, more than enough for the average user. These work really well and are well made. Highly recommended

Surprised!
I actually put the range to the test, while it's not exactly 2KM (maybe with clear line of sight), I had good communication still nearly 800 meters away with a family member. The overall design is solid, it comes with 2 rechargeable batteries and a way to change the volume and channels. If you go too far, the voice does become muffled. There's also an LED indicator to indicate if the other end is talking.

HT66 Walkie Talkies, PMR446 License-free
Cheap set but versatile. I've actually used these on electrical jobs where one's under floorboards or upstairs. Beats shouting for push/pulling events.Comes with charge leads and USB plug tops. Very handy.
