Yes as they stretch. My Dad had thin frail skin and they really help with bumps and skin tears. Older people also stay cold. There are times he has these own for warmth when a jacket isn’t needed

Yes they are washable. Very comfortable. However, they did not serve my purpose. I wanted sleeves to prevent bruising.
