Great for kids
Dishwasher safe and allows more independence in the kitchen. My 6 year old enjoys it. The knives cut well but sometimes require extra help to use enough pressure in cutting through potatoes.

My son didn't really get into it, maybe he's too young still at 2 years old, but its good quality.

A Hands-On Learning Tool for Young Chefs-in-Training
This kitchen tool set is a thoughtful idea for introducing kids to cooking and helping them feel involved in the kitchen. My girlfriend picked it up for our almost 2-year-old, and while it’s not quite right for children that young, it does have its merits.Pros:Functional Tools for Kids: The plastic serrated knives are surprisingly effective at cutting soft foods like tomatoes, cucumbers, and other similar items, which makes them feel like "real" tools for kids.Variety of Pieces: The set includes a wide range of items, offering plenty of opportunities for kids to try different kitchen tasks, from cutting to shaping and peeling.Learning and Bonding Opportunity: It’s a fantastic way to teach kids about kitchen skills while spending quality time together. It helps build relationships while fostering independence and confidence in the kitchen.Bonus Apron: The included apron is a thoughtful addition, making the experience feel more immersive for little ones.Affordable Price: At just $15, the set is reasonably priced for what it offers.Cons:Age Limitation: This set is not suitable for kids under 4. The knife tips and other tools can pose a risk for very young children, so it’s best suited for slightly older kids with some supervision.Durability Concerns: The plastic construction doesn’t feel particularly sturdy, so it’s not something you’d expect to last for years or pass down.Harsh Colors: The bright colors may appeal to kids but aren’t aesthetically pleasing if left out in the kitchen.Storage Issue: While it comes in a box, it doesn’t include a proper storage solution. You’ll likely need to repurpose a drawer or container to keep everything organized.Supervision Required: Even for kids aged 4 or 5, close supervision is necessary, especially during the first few uses, to ensure they learn safe handling techniques.Longevity: By the time kids are ready to use this set effectively, some might argue they could simply use regular kitchen tools under adult supervision.Final Thoughts:Overall, this is a solid introduction to cooking tools for kids, but it’s not without its flaws. It’s affordable and functional, with plenty of pieces to keep kids engaged, but it feels more like a short-term teaching tool than a durable, long-lasting product. While I’d personally rate it 3.5 stars, I’ll round up to 4 stars for its affordability and the value it offers as a learning tool. Just keep in mind the age suitability and the need for supervision when using it.

Great beginner set
I would definitely recommend this set for any little aspiring chef who just wants to help out around the kitchen. It’s all safe most of it is plastic and a great way to learn to cook and have some responsibility.

Great helpers
Good teaching tool. Doesn’t work the greatest so don’t expect these to be cutting like your adult ones. But for the idea that kids can do more in the kitchen and safely this is perfect! Soft items like tomatoes aren’t the easiest unless they’re more firm. And you do need to teach the forward/backward cutting technique otherwise soft stuff is mush and they’ll be frustrated at how much strength they need to push so hard. These do require good hand strength and may take time for some kids to adjust and build that strength in their hands. Colors and size and cooking ability is well worth it
