My Godson is delighted with this detector, it really is all he could want all in one box. The next learning curve will be for him to learn to use it properly, but straight from the box it was working well and gave a bit of fun out in the rain on his birthday digging around on targets he found out in the garden.

This comes complete with pretty much everything you'd need to start metal detecting.l would recommend purchasing a pinpointer to complete the kit as the pinpoint mode on this is OK for general area but not accurate enough to prevent excess digging. Assembly is easy, instruction book short and easy to follow and understand. Only issue lve had is with the spade which bent straightaway in soft lawn!

Bought this for a 9 year old who is interested in detecting and he loves it. Easy for him to use and hold and not too heavy. Only been out with it once and found loads of junk metal on the beach. Looking forward to seeing what else it can find!

Excellent little thing. The kids love it. The back yard not so much!

It's well made but doesn't come with very thorough instructions for use, we wanted to find lost car keys but didn't succeed, possibly because we didn't really know what we were doing.

Looking to replace a very ancient fisher,didn't want to spend a fortune,read a very favorable review on this machine,it sounded too good to be true.Ordered it,came the next day,build quality is very good indeed,and as I said very capable,discrimination works as it should,no problem finding items 8" + deep,waterproof coil works well on the beach too. So far have been very pleased with it.

The 'KAIWEETS Metal Detector Professional, 2025 New Updated, Collapsible, 6 Detection Modes, High Accuracy, 11.8IN IP68 Waterproof Coil with Advanced DSP Chip' arrived in a branded box that also contained a user manual and small fold up spade.A metal detector is one of those tools I have wanted to try for many years but I have never got around to justifying one until now; I needed to find the location of two iron gas pipes that pass under our garden, and I really didn't want to be digging for hours unnecessarily.Assembly of the metal detector was relatively straight forward and I liked the idea of cam levers for adjusting the length of the box section tubes; however I was not keen on the fact the cam levers were not consistent in their operation with some opening further than others and a similar situation occurring when closed.Installing the PP3 batteries was a bit unusual and it was important to ensure the ribbons looped under the batteries to aid their subsequent removal; rather than insert one end of the battery first and then push the other end down, in the case of these batteries they have to go in both ends at the same time.The hand grip I found uncomfortable as it has three finger positions but with my large hands it did not sit well, removing the finger seperators so there is just one section would be far better in my opinion as it would encompass most hand sizes.The included multi language user manual had 18 pages in English alone.Included in the kit was a fold up spade which looks like a great idea except the thread that joins the two parts of the handle was not formed correctly as I found when trying to screw the two parts together.The included headphones are lightweight and have considerable adjustment on the headband; the connecting lead has an inline volume control; I didn't find them that comfortable though.In use I found lots of options that I will need to explore further, but suffice to say I found the pipes I was looking for.I have given this metal detector a 3 star rating due to the issues with the cam levers and spade.
