Just what I needed
My wife recently wrecked her truck with airbag deployment. Thankfully the truck is salvageable, but I do have the SRS system to contend with to get it back in road ready shape. These airbag simulators are going to be perfect to allow me to troubleshoot the system and know exactly the work I need to do to the SRS system so it back operational. The connections are perfect, and product does exactly what I need.

4 pack kit of vehicle air bag emulators
This item shipped and arrived fast. These vehicle air bag emulators are handy little tools to have in a tool box if you do any type of electrical troubleshooting on vehicles. This 4 piece kit has sturdy pins and a hard plastic shell which is more than strong enough for the job they are designed to do. When I did an ohm test on these I got variations between 2.3 to 2.5 ohms consistently which will work for most front airbag systems that I have worked on being in the range of, 2.2 ohms. I had an SRS light on and was not sure if it was a short or the sensor. Before I stared to diagnostics I needed resistor. I found these online that fit the job perfect. They are very easy to use. As soon as I plugged this device into the faulty airbag plug, hook the battery back up, and stated the vehicle the SRS light cleared / went out letting my know that my issue was the sensor. Although I could have just put a resistor into the plug and got the same results, I had none on hand, and I like the fact that someone took the time to make a case, solder a resistor in, and pair it to 2 durable pin outs. I handed one of these out to a friend at a local repair shop who also liked the idea and will get use fro it. Anyway overall this well made tool for what it is. It does work and helps to troubleshoot and clear SRS lights. I would never recommend to bypass an airbag with this device only, unless this is strictly for a track racing vehicle where you may have them removed! Airbags are made to save your life and or serious injury. I rated this device 5 stars.

Unfortunately did not fit for my issue
The airbag resistor that I needed to replace has three pins and not two so therefore this doesn’t work.

Easy to use tool
This tool substitutes an airbag or tensioner in a circuit. It's super helpful for quick diagnosis. I do wish they had the resistance value written on the tool. It may not work in all situations, but it should do the job for most. The tool is very simple in nature, it's just a resistor encased in plastic with pins. It's sold at a great price and pays for itself many times over with the first job.

Diagnostic Tool
As a professional I understand there is a possible, less-professional, other use for these things. But here's why I like them! Yes, there is just a 2.2 ohm (my meter reads 2.3, but close enough) resistor inside the little box, but the correctly-sized pins allow me to install this while diagnosing a customer's car without fear of spreading the terminals of the connector, while also giving me a good gauge to test pin fit. Four of them makes this a good value, even if I accidentally loose one or two of them inside a customer's car.

Work great
These airbag testers worked as promised. They are a simple design and plug and play. The construction is good out of quality materials. Make sure they fit your application as all cars are not the same. I recommend them.

It's just a resistor in a box, but very handy for troubleshooting
I popped one of these up and it was exactly as expected, with a 2.2 ohm resistor soldered across the two pins. Each unit ohmed out at 2.5 ohms with my fluke meter for whatever reason, maybe there's a bit of resistance in the solder job or the pins. Either way, the value is perfectly adequate for troubleshooting airbag circuits. The packaging it nice and so are the rigid pins. It's a lot easiest to secure into place for trouble shooting that trying to jam some tiny resistor pins into a connector, and also a lot easier to keep up with for future use.
