Not for picky palettes
Do not love the taste of this, it's pretty hard to get down. I wish it dissolved more easily and was a little less pungent because I do trust in the health benefits!

Exceptional taste and quality
I'm trying to follow a high protein, high fiber, low net carb diet to loose some excess weight and boost my metabolism. I have just started trying different plant based protein supplements and BCAAs for work outs and post recovery. The taste of this supplement is exceptional. The consistency is so fine, you don't taste it when mixed in water. Unlike another pineapple flavored BCAA that I am trying which tastes like a synthetic explosion in your mouth, this blend is a highly subtle flavor, not at all tart. It is so subtle, that its a barely there taste that makes it very palatable. I highly recommend.

Odd scent and taste
I use supplements to help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try and give a detailed enough review to help you know the company and product better so you can determine for yourself whether or not you want to try this one out.Since the powder settles over time I shook it up before opening and it was about 80% full, which is pretty good for a powder nowadays. If used as directed it will last one month. The "best by" date on mine (THANK YOU for not printing it on the bottom of the container!) is Jul 2026.The scent of the powder is not what I expected. It doesn't smell lemony, and it is not very pleasant scent, though it's not terrible. The taste is kind of along those lines... possibly stale, as one person put it. With all that lemon in it, I don't know how it could taste this way. I would still drink it for the nutrients, but either find something to cover the aftertaste, or maybe add it to something with a strong flavor.I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and made in the USA. This has some organic Other Ingredients and is made in the USA.I look into the supplement companies I use because I've come across so many questionable ones. Their bewellbykelly site is functional and informative. I like the website to have a phone number or at least a chat feature. This has a Contact page form. There is a podcast link, courses, recipes, and more.I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, but I like the ingredients used. I'm not sure what made my flavor different from what others described, and I would like to see more information on sourcing and manufacturing. The price may seem a little high for one month, but to be confident you're getting a quality supplement from a reliable company is worth at least part of that, and if it helps you meet your goal for taking it, even better! I just hope the scent and flavor are not indicators that something is up with the batch this came from.Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.

I recommend mixing up a batch of the powder with water in a blender.
I like the flavor and nutrition of the Be Well by Kelly's Essential Amino Acids Lemon Powder. This is a plant-based supplement that provides all nine essential amino acids. It has a light, lemony flavor when added to water. However, some powder tends to float on the surface instead of dissolving completely. It's a bit off-putting. To avoid this issue, I recommend mixing up a batch of the powder with water in a blender and storing it in the refrigerator for later use. This way, you can enjoy the benefits of the supplement without the unpleasant texture.

Use in smoothies to avoid mixing issues
This Be Well by Kelly Essential Amino Acid supplement is made in the USA. I like that they disclose that the ingredients are sourced from Japan as opposed to simply saying globally sourced ingredients like most other brands do. There are parts of the world I don't trust when it comes to supplements. I do not have any issues with Japan as they are known for their honesty. I read reviews before trying this product so I knew that taste and mixing were an issue for some. That's why I decided to use this as an ingredient in smoothies. Problem solved!

Good ingredients, dubious taste
I'm honestly not sure how to really describe this, except that I think that the flavor here will be extremely subjective. The other reviews are kind of proof positive about that, however there's one thing that I think all of us have generally agreed upon - that the ingredients are pretty good.First, let me expound on the virtues of this product. It gives you all nine essential amino acids, which isn't something to sniff at. Those are building blocks that are extremely useful and, as another reviewer stated, can actually help you feel satiated. Honestly, that in and of itself is pretty great, as I do suffer from the urge to snack, lately more than ever. The main two things that might give people pause is that this doesn't mix as well as it otherwise could and the flavor isn't as good as it could taste. I think the flavor will be a bit subjective since there are people on here that love it and those who, like me, are less enthusiastic. The mixing part is something that you could probably deal with if you used a mini blender - and if you're drinking things like this then I highly recommend investing in one of those little gems. It's a game changer, that's for certain. All in all, I think this is a good product and the amino acids are great, but I just wish that it tasted better. I'm going to approach this like it's medicine - it might not be my favorite flavor, but the benefits are worth it.
