We have a Dyson V11 Vacuum which is very handy as it can quickly be whipped out and be used to tidy up rather than dealing with a big hefty vacuum with trailing cables which is a hazard in its own especially with children around. However, the vacuum head often gets clogged up with hair, mostly my wife's and regularly requires cleaning, and over the years its performance has declined. However, Dyson parts tend to be fairly costly, so this seemed like a reasonable alternative.In terms of design, this seems like an original Dyson part, the plastic has the same thick quality and the colour matches the existing head. There are a few minor differences though, for example, this doesnt offer the additional ridged lines on the roller, known as the Hair Removal Vanes, there are a few colour differences on the front-facing brush and of course the missing Dyson logo.Performance wise this works great and picks up dirt, debris and dust well from both hard floors and carpets. It swivels around freely, but there is a slight resistence which may be because its still fairly new. Naturally with the absence of the hair removal vines, like on our existing vacuum, its not as efffective at gathering hair, yet as a aftermarket product, this performs reasonably well.

Cleaning different surfaces is effortless with this brush head. It glides under furniture with ease and reaches areas that are typically hard to access. The flexibility in movement helps tackle corners and tight spaces without any trouble. Dust and debris are cleared efficiently, leaving floors spotless without any marks.

The media could not be loaded. This direct drive brush head for the Dyson V series vacuum cleaner is identical to the Dyson original in everything but the price. It is well-made from premium materials, fits perfectly and performs exactly as the Dyson part. A very good value, quality item.

I am very happy with this replacement motorised head for our Dyson V8 . The original head stopped working and we thought we would have to trash the vacuum but ended up trying this one and its all working again, which is awesome.The build quality overall is very good, it's durable and is easy to fit on and use and so far worked perfectly for us.I would definitely recommend this one to my friends and family if they have the same issue we had.

This vacuum head fits my V8 perfectly, and seems to make a huge difference to cleaning. The old head that came with it was rather well worn and had seen better days.The construction is decent enough - plastic, but feels well made and like it isn't going to crack the second I run into something hard.10/10

Item arrived well packaged and on time. Unfortunately it seemed quite flimsy and the plastic around the front of the beater bar caught on the carpet rather than gliding over it. It is half the price of the Dyson replacement part and the quality reflects it. I decided to order one from Dyson and returned the item.
