Very healthy, sturdy plants.
Arrived next day, healthy looking plant, well packaged and clear instructions for care. My mistake was not scrolling right to the bottom of the page - I expected an established potted plant not newly/ freshly potted root-stock; it does say' might' be recently potted but I didn't spot this! Seemingly this can be expected in winter months. I will now have to wait for the roots to establish and leaves to develop - a longer process than I originally anticipated - before I can site in the garden. Obviously cannot tell if it is actually a 'James Galway' rose, looks as if that is going to take a year or so to determine! Do not make the mistake of reading 'potted' plant as 'established' in winter season. Disappointed it cannot be planted until roots established. I have since learned this is the better way to buy rose plants.I have waited until the rose has flowered to add more. Unfortunately, the rose is not a 'James Galway' - it is healthy and growing well but is not what I wanted, it is a single petalled rose with peach tints and has yellow stamens in the centre and 'opens up' rather than being a 'cup' or double flower. It is nearly thornless. I have contacted the seller.NB I ordered a St Swithun at the same time, this rose is as it is labelled. I have looked after these roses (rose novice!) as instructed and did not expect them to flower this year, I have been rewarded with lots of buds on both. It is a great pity the 'James Galway' is not a many petalled pink flower.* The seller has agreed to send another rose and identified the incorrectly labelled one as, 'Lullaby' - which is all to the good. A huge thank you to, 'Gorgeous Gardens'. I do understand that incorrect labelling happens.
