Just awesome ! !
I bought this product to change thermal paste on my laptop and woah what a difference I will list them in points+ Temperature improvement of 15*c+ Gaming improvement of 20-25 fps+ Over clocking potential to Max until it's stable+ Fan noise reduced when gaming from like 100% to like 70%+ Fan noise couldn't even be heard at idle and web browsing+ There is no thermal throttling at all. ( before it was thermal throttling like crazy like even 40% )+ Overall this is my personal review and it could be the same or totally different in your computer/ laptopGood product and worth the money ( try to buy and isopropyl alcohol (99%) to clean the old thermal paste left on your computer/laptop

Simply Amazing
Well what can I say, its MX4 - the defacto go - to mid range thermal paste. Its not as flashy and cutting edge as the top tier thermal grizzly stuff but it does what it does and it does it pretty damn well.I've been using it on all sorts of thermal interfaces such as CPUs, GPUs etc and I've not once gotten a bad mount nor has it dried out for me yet.The burn in time is pretty much non existant , its non conductive and the thermal performance is great(when compared to the stock goop that comes preapplied on the hsf).-Long term update- I'm still using the same syringe 3 years later; it hasn't dried up yet and I've so far used it around 10-12 times.-2023 update: I'm still using my 2017 syringe of MX-4, I must have done over 30+ applications from that one tube and there is still enough left for 3-4 more.

Great!
This paste is just amazing, WOW, my GPU temps went to 96 degrees celcius while gaming and at ideal they were around 75 degrees celcius, thanks to this thermal paste, my GPU in ideal is now around 41 - 43 degrees celcius and under load its 59 degrees at max, and also sometime it comes down to 38 degrees celcius. For CPU also, it aided me, on ideal it used to be 71 degrees and on load, it went around 89 degrees, now in ideal its around 52 - 54 degrees celcius and while running prime95 for 10 minutes its around 70 degrees, also this thermal paste will spread over time and give me an overall better cooling! Well done, Arctic!

It works!!!
As the headline says, it simply works. It is day 1 and the laptop is running appreciably cooler, but I'll try to update this review over time. Before the application, my CPU used to run about 10-15C hotter than the HDD, but now it run 1-2C lower than even SSD (readings from Open Hardware Monitor).A few things: Don't use the alcohol wipes first, but use them as a finishing touch. Use some kind of lint free microfibre cloth (like the one used to clean glasses) to obtain a mirror finish after that. I used the pea method for applying.I'd say to anyone hesitant to do this to search for teardown guide of the particular laptop model on ifixit and watch some youtube videos. It'll be worth it.The whole compound looks sufficient for 10 or more laptops.Update (Oct 19/Feb 20): Still working great.

Well worth the Money.
I got a used GTX 980 2 weeks ago.Apart from some dust buildup(which is pretty common in cases which are not regularly cleaned),the card is in near mint condition. After I got the card home ,I cleaned it up with a hair blower to blow away the dust, unscrewed the back-plate ,PCB , heat-pipes and fans to further clean the card. After reassembly, installed the card and checked for idle and load temp's through MSI afterburner.Idle temps were in the 36-40 C range while load temps while gaming shot up to 80.Even though these cards are designed for temps up-to 98 C, I was not comfortable with 80C at load.Since my case and GPU was well dusted, the only thing remaining was to change the stock thermal paste on the GPU.After watching numerous thermal paste comparison videos on you tube, the ones that stood out were Arctic MX-4, Noctua NT-H1 and Thermal grizzly. To make it more confusing, many reviews also concluded that there is not much of a difference between low cost and higher cost thermal paste.Arctic MX-4 & Noctua NT-H1 are in the same price bracket (Rs 1000) while Thermal grizzly is almost twice the price. The ones available in the local market are the cheap chinese makes (around Rs 100).Initially I went in with the cheaper chinese paste, applied it on the GPU and tested the temps. The temps pretty much remained the same (Idle : 38, Load : 80)Finally I decided to give the 'expensive' pastes a try.I ordered the Arctic MX-4 over the Noctua NT-H1 simply because of the company claim of 8 years shelf life for the Arctic MX-4.(Apart from the 8 years claim, both are pretty much on par.)On reapplying and testing, there was a noticeable difference in the Load temps.Idle temps were around 34-35 C while Load temps dropped from 80 C to 68-70 C.The application method for both the cheap chinese and the more expensive Arctic pastes was the exact same. The initial performance of MX-4 looks very promising. Will update this review in a month or 2 in case of any major temp fluctuations.I am more than happy with the extra that I spend on Arctic.
