It Just Works
I bought my TRX4 Sport with the express intent of not making any changes to it. I already have plenty of projects to work on, and I didn't want to add more by buying something that would need work. I don't want to replace parts as they break, and I don't want to be forced to upgrade parts in order to crawl the more difficult lines. I just needed something that works. That is exactly what the TRX4 Sport is. It isn't as capable as my comp rig, but it is far more capable than most stock RTRs. It's also built like a tank. From the metal servo horn to the metal links, this thing is tough enough to handle whatever you can throw at it, and keep on trucking. I love the fact that I can take it out crawling, and not worry about breaking something; I can simply focus on having fun.

Very food multi-terrain Traxxas
My only experience with RC cars before this was the Traxxas Slash, which is fast but not terribly robust, and is suitable mostly for dry, level dirt and pavement. For a kid just using an RC car around the neighborhood, the Slash certainly has its limitations. The TRX-4 is a whole different experience. Ruts, puddles, mud, rocks and hills are easily dispatched by this rugged beast. Yes, it’s expensive, but IMHO the time spent enjoying the truck, rather than repairing and rescuing a lesser model, is worth the additional cost.

Amazing RC Crawler/Trail Truck
This Truck is amazing it is a great all around Hobby Grade RC it's great for the Trail and for Rock Crawling it has great power straight out of the box for People new to the RC hobby you do have to buy a battery and charger for most all hobby grade RC Vehicales and this is a Trail/Rock Crawler the trucks top speed is around 9 MPH it's not ment to run fast but has tons of power.. the Truck is waterproof the only complaint is the steering servo is a little weak but most all hobby RC Vehicles that are ready to run have weak steering servos so that's really nothing new but I have not had the servo fail but I did buy a metal servo horn for it when I bought the truck and I have hours of run time on the stock servo . This RC is extremely well designed and I would highly recommend it to anyone .

Trx4 is the way to go
After trying out some cheaper crawlers and having bad experiences, I broke down and bought a trx4 2021 bronco. I had also bought my 6 year old a scx24 so he could come crawling with me too, but it just wasn’t capable enough to even be crawling in the same areas as mine. I decided to order him the sport and it was a great choice. He absolutely loves being able to crawl with me, and when I’m not driving mine, he basically uses it as a basher (with some slight caution) it has proven very durable to any abuse thrown at it. I’ve been very impressed and I love the fact that I can upgrade to locking diffs and 2 speed transmission when I feel he is ready, along with the countless other upgrade options available for the trx4. My only disappointment (very slight) is that when being used to the look of the bronco, the sport body looks very toy like. Not a big deal though, bodies can always be replaced and there are a few great options available with little to no modifications to the truck at all. I definitely see myself buying another one of these for my younger son when I think he is ready for it!

Incredible value out of the box
I have a few of the TRX4, including a modified Land Rover. Bone stock this thing outperforms the Land Rover. After upgrading the Land Rover, this STILL outperforms it.This is the most capable stock. It's even better than some lightly modified ones. Super low CoG. Put some good tires and a few brass parts on this and it will crawl up a vertical wall.

Great all around crawler
The media could not be loaded. Overall, it's a great truck. It doesn't have some of the features that the Traxxas trx4 Defender does, but its still alot of fun. As you can see from the video, it's very durable. To get the most out of the rock crawling experience, some upgrades are needed.... such as axle weights, oversized wheels and tires, and shocks. From the factory it is alot of fun. I rub the 3c batteries and they last forever.

Worth the money!
My son loves this RC car. I wanted to get him one slow enough that he doesnt crash into everything, that would last a long time, and has some cool factor to it. This hits all of those squarely on the proverbial head. The cool factor being its customizability and the fact that it will crawl over damn near anything in its path! Very powerful truck and very long lasting batteries are available.
