ScratchJr Coding Cards: Creative Coding Activities

My six years old girl is able to follow the task with minimal support from adults to develop Scratch codes. She needed some support with the extension task at the bottom of the card.The level of language used on the card is manageable by her. The box and quality of the card meant this should last a few years for her younger siblings.

My 7-year-old daughter has been learning ScratchJr so after a bit of effort getting it working on her Kindle Fire Kids tablet I bought her this set of cards and she really enjoyed going through all the exercises.

Bought these for my class but my 4 year old also decided he would like to try them. In both instances the children copied the code easily but I'm not sure how much learning has actually happened.

My daughter who is 5 years old enjoys these cards a lot when using these with the Scratch Junior app as gives her plenty of ideas for projects and helps her learning. The handy cards are great for travelling with and can also be used without the app and also have easy to follow instructions making Coding a fun past time which is also educational.

Nice size and kid friendly cards.I have used some of them in the classroom as a next step independent challenge as they are easy to follow.

My daughter loves this Scratch cards and learning how to program, however, when I try to reorder the cost has gone up £5, I am disappointed as I only ordered them the other day and I wanted to repurchase for a gift.Linda
