This was a great purchase that served its purpose for me perfectly. I was going to a derby party and wanted to decorate a straw hat. I wrapped the roses around a black dress like a sash and I had so many compliments on my derby look! For what these are, which is obviously artificial roses, they are very nice. I wish I had a pic to upload!

These are pretty flowers but the fabric used to make them isn't the faux-silk type used in most arrangements and garlands that I have seen. It isn't exactly papery, but it isn't soft and easy to shape, either. It reminds me of the stiff satin material used to make some ribbons. The flowers do look nice after some fluffing and primping, but they aren't very large and they are arranged rather sparsely along the length of the garland. The leaves are just okay and, like the flowers, there just aren't enough of them. Unless two or more garlands are intertwined, there is a lot of bare stem that looks plasticky and fake. I ordered the 32' long set (which is four 8' garlands) and it will take all four of them to match the lushness seen in the first picture in the gallery. Definitely check the rest of the pictures as the third one gives a pretty good indication of what a single strand looks like. Premium garlands can be very expensive, so the price of this one does seem reasonable to me, but I have to keep in mind that a lush, full look really ends up being only 8' long. I ended up using double-strands to decorate my Cinco de Mayo table and I thought it looked nice. I wouldn't buy this again.

Not expensive but looks lovely

Welllll.... they arrived pretty smooshed and in need of poofing. There is plenty of length for the price but they certainly could have been fuller, more leafy (but again, for the price...). They did the job, the roses are vibrant, and I'd like to give them more stars (for the price) but as another reviewer mentioned I could get something very similar at the dollar store, so I DID expect better quality (for the price).

These vines are not as full and lush as the photo makes them appear. If you twist them around each other you can make a more robust looking display. But if you twist two together, you have less overall length, right? so there’s your trade-off issue. If you want a vine that isn’t super full, like on a table-scape, these vines are nice in that they can be strewn and layered to make room for other decor and candles to be nestled into it. The quality is fair, not fabulous, and they arrive squished into a box, not fluffy. Plan to take some time to steam and shake out the flowers, and to smooth and shape the leaves. The value seems good, but the work required to make these look nice makes me dock one star.
