Good sturdy plates, can look nice too when painted
They seem strong and well made, I used them to reinforce a DIY wooden BBQ shelter which I purposely built to bespoke shape and size. Prior to using them, there was a bit of flexing ( if I banged the timber frame hard ,with my hand , in order to mimic strong winds) which seems to have been minimised or almost fully eradicated since I added those platesAlso I really like how they look once I sprayed them black ( photo attached)I would buy again therefore I recommend them

Provided additional strength to damaged garden gate. Great for a multitude of uses in the workshop.

Very sturdy
the brackets were ordered with other brackets and washers, when arrived the amazon envelope they were packed in had split open and these brackets were missing, the cardboard envelope had been re-SellotapedI sent a complaint to amazon and have had NO response, I re-ordered the same brackets and which were delivered the next day, the brackets themselves are good value and quality, shame about the unsuitable packing, which I see has been reported before

Sturdy
I ordered these to help join two 6" posts together. They are so easy to use and screw in place, plenty of holes to screw into too. They are lasting well and haven't moved since installing.

Item is decent, shipping can be tricky.
This product is decent enough and it really helped me with a raised bed with railway sleepers. They are sturdy and the thickness makes them solid enough. Not all railway sleepers were 100% straight and screwing these on the joint corners really flattened them, they are this strong.On the cons side, after a few days the inside of the unused holes started rusting. I guess they galvanized the plates before drilling the holes. I dont suspect this to be a major issue long term, but its definitely a starting point for possible decay.One problem is shipping. The item is too heavy for the cardboard boxes Amazon uses. I got some initially which arrived in a half-broken box and I had to order extra which got then lost. Amazon reported they were unable to replace them because they come from a third party vendor, they asked me buy it again using my credit card and then get a refund. The refund had to be on gift card balance unless I was willing to accept 5-7 business days execution into my credit card. On top of this, I lost free delivery for this second order since I didn't get to 20£, for which they said they would refund shipping costs as well, but only once the item was dispatched and by contacting them and telling them the whole story again.I lost 4 days, I got unplanned money transferred to a gift card, my project is delayed and I think Amazon didn't believe me and treated me like a scammer.As said, the problem is not the item which is fantastic or the vendor, its Amazon placing big sharp steel objects in small cardboard boxes and hoping for the best, then neglecting any prejudice caused to the buyer if it gets lost in transit.
