An important book in the age of AI Hype
Enjoyable read, and fully covers the recent AI hype from 2023 through 2024. Although it lacks specific details, the citations are super-complete for those that care to dig in. I highly encourage non-technical people to read this, so their own conversations, ideas and concerns can be heard through the noise of technology noise!

Fairly good, poor printing quality
Good, approachable examples sprinkled throughout the text. Could do with a helicopter-view restructuring of the overall book. So it's okay.Actual book print quality was highly annoying: pages are thin so you can see a faint image of the following page through the page. I emailed the publisher who said it wasn't an issue with my copy, so if that annoys you, a heads up. I found it highly distracting. (I have to hold the page I'm reading slightly above the book, that seemed to help.)
