I installed this on my gf's old Windows 8 era laptop because she refuses to buy a new one. It originally came with 4GB with 3.2GB usable, so just imagine how low that is for modern computing. Adding another 4GB made her laptop much faster and able to keep up with modern apps and tabbed browsing. Now she has stopped complaining that her laptop is so slow and freezes. Cheap fix, after trying everything else that didnt work. For modern computing, you will need at least 8GB now. Too bad most modern laptops dont have the ability to upgrade components anymore.

One day I was leading a summer camp powerpoint when my screen went black. Not being able to get my computer to start up completely I was totally fudged for the rest of the day. Finally was able to figure out that it was my Ram chip and I never new it would get here so fast. My computer is up and running perfectly now and maybe a bit faster. Awesome product.

Used product to upgrade pc. It was easy and quick. Made a big difference in performance.

Would have been 5 star if it wasn't for the packaging. Ordered as New recieved an already opened package. So possibly used?Everything else easy installation, works great no problem with upgraded RAM as advertised. I have ordered from this supplier before with great success.

I have two ram slots in an old HpTouchsmart. Each slot had 1 GB ram stick for a total of 2 GB. I took one stick of Ram out and installed this 4 GB stick in its place (keeping the second stick in that was already there.) The computer did not recognize the new ram stick. It went down to 1 GB. I figured out that if the ram sticks are of different brands, the computer will only recognize one of the sticks. So I removed both of the old sticks and inserted only this Samsung new one in one slot. Suddenly, I have the 4 GB and the computer is amazingly faster. It can tolerate multiple youtube videos going at once. If I buy a second stick I can increase it to 8 GB but probably wont since I have other newer computers with plenty of Ram already. It was just nice to give this old one an upgrade refreshing it's capabilities to how it was when it was new. (Windows 10 slowed it down until I upgraded it with this one 4 GB stick).

I was asked to restore an old HP slimline desktop. I added this mem chip to help it function better than the 4GB it came with. This chip worked just fine. Stable with no issues.

This memory cheap works as promised. It's a great buy.

Sorry to have to give such a low rating but situation requires it. The memory module I received may deserve higher although there is no way to know that because it is not the one I ordered. When it would not work in my laptop, I checked the packaging and the module itself closely. I needed and ordered low voltage memory (1.35V) and the packaging was labeled as a low voltage module. The module itself was NOT low voltage (1.5V). Everything else was correct, but close was not good enough in this case. I am very concerned when items are mislabeled as to trusting further products from same source. On plus side, Amazon took care of the charge without a fuss and I could not ask for any more support on their part.
