Zama New C1U-H46 Genuine OEM Carburetor

I have a John Deere BC1600 brush cutter (weed whacker with blade attachment), that sat unused for more than two years. The fuel tank cracked and so did the fuel primer bulb (dry rot). Replacing the fuel tank was easy, but I've never touched a carburetor before... it turns out that this OEM carburetor is ready to bolt on, without any adjustment, right out of the box!The brush cutter started on the second pull and ran better than it ever had, in my memory. The idle seemed a bit high in the first minute, but it settled right down, and ran perfectly thereafter. My brush cutter is basically reborn after installing this carburetor, and I couldn't be happier.

This is an honest review guys. You may think this is a plant, but its not. I jave an old John Deere weed eater cs1600. Suppose to be 30cc motor. It has sat in my tool shed for at least 5 years with no usage. Nun. Decided to get it out, clean it up, see if it would work. Nope. Was full of dirt dobber junk. The hard stuff. Took it all apart, got all the stones out. Took carb off to clean. Did all I could, put all back & had great compression with spark but a no start. Carb had to go. Ordered this ZAMA C1U-H46.....recieved 2 days earlier than what Amazon said. Bolted right up fine, connected fuel lines, thing started on the 2nd pull. This weed eater is a total age of 13 years old but fired & ran great (reset idle a bit). I would seriously recomend this carb. Its just the carb so dont waste your time with all the trinkets to trick you into another brand. Its the OEM carb & you will definitely be impressed.

Put this on my John Deere S1400 and it works like a brand new machine. So why only four Stars? It didn't come with new gaskets. I used the old gaskets but you would think a brand new carburetor would come with brand new gaskets and it didn't.

I considered all sorts of things for my John Deere weed eater. I looked at videos to rebuild the carb.this was a no brainer. Bought this. swapped it out in maybe 5 minutes.easy to do if you have any reasonable mechanical ability.if your weedwacker doesn't start..buy this and call it a day

Returned it due to not being exactly as pictured

I have a John Deere trimmer and replaced the well aged original carburetor with a discount, non factory replacement. That didn't go well so I purchased a factory replacement Zama. Engine started on the second pull, ran and idled great with no adjustments needed. Excellent carb.Seller shipped very fast, would buy from again.

Bought this on the basis of customer reviews (e.g. put it on and ran great) but didn't work for me. The product doesn't come with a new gasket. I used the old one which seemed to be ok but the manufacturer should include a new one. After installing, the weed-wacker started fairly easily but would only run at full speed. Any attempt to slow the engine caused it to die. There were no instructions given as to adjustments when it doesn't work "right out of the box". Tried to make some of the limited adjustments allowed but no significant improvements. So didn't know what was wrong. At least it wasn't too complicated to return.

Replaced my old carb with this, ran great right away no adjustments needed
