First amp
Purchased as a Christmas gift for a nephew who is a budding guitar player...For a small amp, it has great tone and tonal range. He especially likes the overdrive...

unexciting at first
unexciting at first... butwhen u compare to the other similar SMALLER peavey amps, which are also unexciting, and non unique...this audition starts to stand out....it becomes Unique, when compared to the soundsof its bit bigger siblings...it MIGHT be useful for studio work, with special mics.it just might...maybe....

Perfect little practice amp
I was having to move my amp/speaker cab downstairs every time I wanted to practice. I needed a small amp that I could leave in the living room. I bought one of these amps because I had read decent reviews on it and the price was right. I am really surprised with the all around quality of construction and the sound. The lead switch turns it into a little screamer. If you need a small amp for practice I would suggest trying one of these. Been playing for almost 50 years.

Tiny but Mighty
This tiny amp is pretty amazing. Like most guitar amps, it sounds best when turned up. It actually has some fullness to it, which surprised me since it only has a 4" speaker. It's great for practice and would even work live played alongside an acoustic piano or guitar. Theoretically you could mic it. You'll need to EQ it differently than your normal amp settings. Bass all the way up, treblehalfway. Use the tone knob on your guitar to knock down the treble a bit more, and Voila! Surprising sound and volume. The only effect pedal I use is a bit of echo, which thickens the sound. It has an overdrive setting that seems fine but I don't use it. It only weighs 6 pounds, less than your guitar. Like all Peavey products it's rugged. Well worth $50.

Just what I needed to use for my apartment. It sounds really good and can get quit loud esp if you put it in overdrive.I am using this amplifier with an Electric Acoustic guitar and it sounds very good...The Amp went to the wrong address but this is notthe fault of the seller it lies totally on Purolator who left this on the door step way down the street and the addresses looked nothing a like.. If you buy one keep an eye on where it goes. But besides that it is a cool little amp that does what it's suppose to do

This little amp is amazing. Very powerful for its size and it sounds great. I love that it can be loud and clean, or dirty when you want it to be. If you're looking for a small and affordable amp, this one can't be beat
