This timer looks well made. I like the fact that it is easy to program, easy to read the display, and it is water resistant. I will be using this timer outside in potential wet weather.

I bought it on the grounds it would be easily heard outside in the garden. It isn’t.No louder than the average kitchen timer. Nice design, easy to use but pointless when it doesn’tNice design, easy to use but what’s the point when it doesn’t do what it claims i.e. hasan extra loud ring easily heard in the garden. It’s no louder than the average kitchen timer.By the time I’d wrestled the battery into it ( lousy instructions ) it was not possible to send itback. Disappointing.

It’s a nice inexpensive timer with a very clear and easy to read display to have around the BBQ or in the kitchen.I could hear the beeping fine outside and it’s simple to use IMO.No regrets with purchase but glad of reviews saying how to access battery compartment.

Due to my hearing deteriorating, I was looking for a timer with a good "ALARM" from the manufacturers blurb, this seemed to be what I wanted, unfortunately it is not as loud as the one I want to replace, how this works in the open where sound can be absorbed I don't know. So am very disappointed, considering it is a nice looking timer, very easy to use, batteries cleverly hidden behind the outer skin. It might be ideal for others but not me.

The sound from the timer is too low; you need to keep the timer close by. There are no instructions for battery installation, and if you look at the unit, it appears there is a seam that will split to reveal the battery door; it doesn't, so don't try. To install the batteries, the silicone cover pulls off to reveal the plastic timer body and door for the battery compartment.It's no more than a cheap £5 timer with a celebrity blame tag; it's heading back to Amazon.

The instructions that came with this device are incomplete. There should have been some sort of tag to help to open the battery storage area but it was missing and it took a while to realise that you have to remove the outer coating to get access to the battery storage area then it took more time to try to work out how to open the storage case (you basically slide it but it is not easy and, of course, being unfamiliar with the device, you do not want to damage it. This difficulty has coloured my ratings for the product, which may be fine now once the batteries are in but I am not looking forward to having to replace them as it is a faff! Heston, sort this out!!!
