Good. Probably the best you can get at this price.
I bought this because it was recommended by several kitchen utensil review sites i trust. According to them, it's not the absolute best, but it's very close to the top ones (especially when considering the price). The other good fish turners were Mercer Hell’s Handle Fish Spatula, Wusthof Fish Spatula and LamsonSharp Slotted Turner, all more expensive than this. I wanted something with a wooden handle, so it doesn't melt when left on the hot side of a pan (all the other spatulas above can suffer from this, more or less). It's Made in USA, the metal used seems good quality and is flexible just enough without feeling flimsy (this is important for a fish spatula). The tip is sharpened (but not like a knife) and there's a curve at the spatula's end. All these things are crucial for a good fish spatula. This is one of them.CON:-the handle could use some more polishing: the walnut wood is a bit rough and the metal handle protrudes the wooden sides just enough to feel it with your palm. This can be resolved with a little sandpaper and it is a small thing to nitpick; i wish i could give it 4.5 stars.ps: don't put it in the dishwasher because it has a wood handle (doh!).

Perfect
I needed a very thin spatula to turn eggs in my cast iron pan, and this spatula is eggcellent for that use. It's also perfect for turning/transferring delicate fish fillets as well. The edge is very sharp, so there's no crumpling of food when you're trying to insert it underneath - it just glides right under. I wash it by hand due to the wooden handle, and it's easy to clean if you rinse it right after use. I was hesitant to purchase it due to the high price, but have found it's worth it.

Great spatula, good value but the unfinished wood handle feels weird at times
This spatula is a great shape and well made. The only down side is the wood handle is smooth but unfinished, so, since I'm sensitive to textures at times, the unfinished wood, when dry, has an off-putting texture that gives me the hebegeebees sometimes (like rubbing the pointy end of a fork on a plate, or scratching fingernails on a chalkboard). I'm considering finishing the handle with Danish oil (Tried & True, which I think is food-safe and non-toxic), or maybe a food-safe poly finish, which I hope takes care of that problem. The wood handle also means that one must hand wash the spatula (or expect the wood handle to split eventually, if it goes in the dishwasher, although I have not that problem with this spatula). The Cook's review complains about the metal edge rubbing against the hand when holding it, but I did not experience any edges or rubbing (only the minor complaint about the texture of the unfinished wood).I would prefer the same spatula with a solid Richlite or polypropylene/polyethylene handle so the texture was nicer against my hand, and so it was definitely dishwasher-safe.

Amazing Spatula
I bought this spatula and now I can’t live without it! Durable, easy to use, good at getting stuck food off pans. Very flexible and thin as well to help with easy flipping. Great product!

This is the best turner/spatula money can buy
This is the best turner/spatula money can buy. Don't be mislead by the name, this spatula is not just for fish. The front edge is beveled allowing it to easily slip under whatever you're cooking. The spatula is small enough to maneuver in your pan, and has a nice amount of flex (but not too much), helping with delicate items. The blade of the spatula has a full tang (the metal extends all the way to the bottom of the handle) and with the three rivets this spatula is extremely durable. The spatula looks exactly the same as the day I bought it.The only reasons to think twice about buying this:1) If you work in a commercial setting and need something that can be sanitized - the wood handle could be a problem there. For most people, however, the wood handle is a bonus as it won't melt in high heat.2) You only have coated non-stick pans and don't want to scratch the coating.
