Excellent Star Wars book
Scum and Villainy is another fun Star Wars book. It is well done and comes in a nice slipcase. I have always loved the term "Scum and Villainy", and it is certainly an apt description for this book. As the subtitle says, the book offers case files on the galaxy's most notorious. It will tell you more than you thought you needed to know about characters that you may have only a surface familiarity with. Read Scum and Villainy and amaze your friends with some obscure star Wars facts.

Solid read, great info on ESB hunters
Great information on bounty hunters like Fett, Dengar, Zuckuss, 4LOM, Bossk and IG88.You get to learn a bit more about their gear and lots of info on crime syndicates.I originally thought the book was going to be a bit smaller in size and be alot more dense in terms of content. but there are a lot of cool details and amazing art in the book. Good buy for 25$.

Decent point-of-view book covering some fan-favorite bounty hunters
Star Wars: Scum and Villainy is a different take on some characters more and less familiar from the movie and shows of Star Wars. Certainly don’t expect anything like a visual dictionary you may recognize author Pablo Hidalgo for. This is a completely different concept, although the art illustrations throughout represent many of the “case files” well. The book is written from the point of view of Exantor Divo, Police Commissioner, through his family’s history as case files from eras of criminal enterprises. Three parts cover timelines through the Republic, Empire and post-Empire, New Republic. It includes references to many favorites, as expected, Boba Fett and the Hutts.Part I deals with Tan Divo’s case work as police inspector on Coruscant around the end of the Republic through the underworlds and crime syndicates. In Part II, the Empire has formed after the Clone Wars. Andressa Divo is an inspector that describes details about the bounty hunters used as an end to the means of the Empire. Later, some familiar members of the Rebellion are detailed. By Part III, the age of the Imperials seems to have ended. The files from Exantor focus on New Republic issues around criminal organizations such as Kanjiklub.I appreciate the details shown in many of the cases, but the book is made a little worse by the illustrations that leave the “case” under contextualized before moving on to something else, sometimes without great purpose. I liked the “extra” touch with the plastic slipcover with the printed title and logo included to protect the book. It is a decent addition to a Star Wars collection.
