Great 3rd Party Charger!
So just to preface this, if you have the larger (7.1mm i believe) charging port, there is a adapter rolling around in the box. Dont make my mistake and try to return it lol. This is a fantastic back up charger. Its a little larger then the OEM one that came with my MSI GL65. So i've actually decided to use this as my main home charger. Charger work's great, my laptop is not complaining. Would purchase again!

Much Smaller and Lighter alternative to the OEM Charger
This GAMFOR 180W AC adapter is a smaller and lighter alternative to the OEM MSI charger for my MSI laptop (Model # MS-17F3, MFG 2020). While the compact size and lighter weight are appealing, there are some significant drawbacks.During our bench test, the GAMFOR 180W adapter's power rating maxed out at 19.5V, 7.7A, or 150.2W, falling short of its advertised 180W. More concerningly, after charging the laptop for just over 45 minutes, the charger became extremely hot, reaching 89°F (32°C) as measured with a non-contact laser surface scanner. This raises concerns about long-term reliability and safety.Although the charger does technically power my laptop, the barrel connector has a noticeably looser fit than the original MSI charger. The cables are also thinner gauge, and there's no LED power indicator, which is a minor but noticeable omission. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the price of this GAMFOR adapter is nearly identical to an official MSI replacement.Considering the lower-than-advertised power output, excessive heat generation, looser connection, thinner cables, and the comparable price to an OEM part, I cannot recommend this charger. The trade-offs for the smaller size and lighter weight are simply not worth it. We will be ordering an official MSI replacement.

Good Charger

Still working, and fits solid into the charging port
I wanted to get the OEM replacement from the MSI store, but holy cow they charge a lot. This one works just as good, and easily half the price.

Good product. Nearly identical to the original MSI power brick
early review. will update as I put it to more use. but looks well-built and comes with travel bag for travel, which is a nice feature. very similar to the original power brick that came with the MSI laptop

Exact replacement for factory unit. Wanted a second one so I didn’t have to lug it around between home and office. Good deal!

The charger works great for my MSI GV62 laptop, no issues.
