It was easy to install and the motor is quieter than original motor.

Direct replacement for APEX and Ashley Furniture power couch. Did have to use the provided switch and modify my power cord as the connectors were old style. But that was easy and while it took a little over two hours for someone who had never replaced a recliner motor. It was worth it.

I have an Ashley brand love seat with dual motors. I purchased used 2 yrs old. Both motors always had intermittant issues. They would just stop working. I would unbolt the footrest arms from the motor glide, unbolt motor from bracket, run the motor back and forth, reconnect, and they would work for a while. Depending on how often the footrest was used, they would stop working 2-5x a year. One side just started making loud grinding noise every time the footrest was used so we stopped using it.A couple months ago, one motor just stopped for good. A call to Ashley, I was told there was no replacement motor since the loveseat is discontinued. Based on the motor model number, the length of the motion arm (needed about 333mm in length based on original motor), and the look of the connections (same size bolts, same number of bolt holes for arms), inclusion of new cables, look/style of new motion button (looked like original), I purchased this motor over the others with the same model number.Everything fit purfectly. The motion length is almost exactly the same (no noticable difference). All cables had to be replaced since connections are different. This means instead of both motors connecting into 1 power box, now both motors plug in seperately. The power button fits previous hole perfectly. It took 1 person about 60 min to replace when never using before. Now that I know what to do and which size sockets/wrenches to use, it will only take about 30 min to replace the 2nd motor.I highly recommend this motor as the Ashley brand replacement footrest motor.

Installation was easy and fit well. However, I installed it on 2/12/23 and am sitting here on 3/14/23 with it not working anymore. VERY POOR QUALITY. Seller stood by the product and sent me a replacement free of charge. Hopefully this one lasts.

I replaced a 12 y/o motor on a sofa where both end seats recline. Tried to do it without adding an additional plug to the outlet but unfortunately it didn’t work out due to it not being compatible with existing motor’s wiring. So I installed this motor on the opposite end of sofa and it’s been solid. Easy to install and fairly quiet. I’m pleased with it.

Purchased this in mid June and was able to put in last night. However the new part acts the same as the old part. The motor buzzes when moving into a reclined or upright position.

We have an Ashley oversized electric recliner that stopped working in the extended position. Since we are very fond of this chair, we decided to try and fix it. I found a model number on the existing motor and researched replacement parts and replacing the part. Videos on YouTube were helpful and it looked relatively easy. Found this part and figured the price was maybe a little high, but worth it. Like I said, we are fond of the chair. The motor arrived with the up/down button and all wiring. It was a little different than the old, but mainly just updated wiring. We had the old one out and the new one installed in less than 30 minutes. My husband is a very handy guy, so this was an easy replacement for him. I think if I had to do it myself, it still would have been relatively easy. Chair works again and we are very happy!

Thanks to this product my reclining sofa is working again. I had paid 200 dollars to Berny and Phyls store and the repair man took 1 month to come to my house first and then said that he works order a replacement motor. After another month the store said that they can’t find the replacement motor and that I am on my own. That’s when I found this product on Amazon. It took me a couple of hours to remove the old motor and replace it with this one but I am glad that this work has paid off and my sofa works again.
