Elemental iron is much better than OTC iron. Had very low iron and hemoglobin counts due to blood loss. Each capsule in its own package so not as user friendly but still worth it

My doctor said it's working for my anemia
My doctor prescribed Tandem for chronic anemia. During my last blood check, after a month on these iron supplements, my doctor said my iron levels are slowly increasing and they won't need to check again for 2 months. Buying them on Amazon is so much cheaper than the drugstore. My insurance would not cover it and a 2 month supply at the pharmacy was the same cost as this 3 month supply. I take it with food and have not experienced any stomach problems. I do wish it would come in a bottle instead of a sleeve.
