Does a great job no bleach spots
Does a great job on multicolored pontoon boat bench seats without fading or discoloring them like bleach would.

For a couple of specific purposes, it's incredible but NOT a cleans everything product
The only problem with this cleaner is the claim that it cleans everything. First, I've yet to discover the product that cleans everything and if it did, would probably be banned by the EPA or OSHA. What this cleaner does exceptionally well is to clean vinyl trim and fiberglass. The tan interior in my wife's Accord had some really ground in black scuff marks, especially on the sills. I've tried cleaning them with Simple Green with no joy. This product took them off immediately and with no scrubbing. For that alone, it would be a worthy product but then I introduced it to some badly scuffed fiberglass saddlebags and the result was amazing! This did a horrible job on glass (it will leave streaks like you wouldn't believe), melamine and granite counter tops. It almost feels oily on those surfaces and leaves a residue behind that you have to chase with a clean cloth to remove, making cleaning those items a two step process. After those failures, I relegated it to a garage only cleaner where it has performed admirably. So well that in despite of receiving a bottle free from the Vine program, I've since ordered a couple of bottles on my own dime to have in reserve. It cleans trim so well that I'm convinced it will someday be banned for causing nasal congestion or erectile dysfunction and will be replaced with an environmentally friendly cleaner that cleans absolutely nothing.

Got a lot of ancient top-layer grime off of my 30-year-old Ford van without much scrubbing
I don't have a lot of faith in the claims made by cleansers and car/RV washes, but I'm endlessly hopeful and so I keep trying. Part of the reason I keep trying is that I drive a 1988 Ford Econoline (seriously--and I'm the original owner) and while I took meticulous care of it for its first 25 years or so, I've gotten lazy lately. Fortunately the pain that Ford used not his truck is somewhat amazing and the large vertical surfaces have held up amazingly well and shed road crud pretty well on their own (to a degree, it's not a self-washing car, lol), but the hood and the back doors are a disaster and I try not to look at them.I tried this Boater's EDGE cleanser on the hood and it actually did a pretty good job (I have some comparison photos I'll post once I download them). I found that it works much better if you let it sit for a while and I worked it a little bit using a rough cloth (kind of like a Swiffer dry cloth, but it has a rougher surface) and it was able to get a lot of the surface material off. Unfortunately after having let leaves and stuff sit on it way too long, there are some marks that are going to take some rubbing compound to get out. But that's fine, because if you don't clean the surface very well before you compound, you're really just scrubbing a lot of the dirt and grease into the paint.I also tried this on the hull of a neighbor's old Boston Whaler and it did a much better and faster job on relatively new dirt on the transom. There were some pretty good dirt marks around the engine mount and we were able to get them all off. I want to try this on tile in my shower, as well, but haven't yet--I'll update this once I do. In the past one of the best products I've used (kind of surprisingly) for that is good old 409 and I have a feeling this Boater's EDGE is pretty equal to that, we'll see this weekend.Overall I wouldn't call this a miracle cure, but it works pretty darn good on some tough stuff. My father ran a boat/marine supplies retail store for a lot of years and we always used to used marine cleaning supplies around the house, so it's kind of fun to be using boat cleansers again.

Big disappointment. Don’t bother.
Did not work on my fiberglass tub. At all.

OK cleaner
My impression is that this cleaner doesn't clean any better than the orange-based cleaners I like, and doesn't smell as good. It actually throws off some choking fumes if you spray it from a distance or in an enclosed area. Diluted it works well for cleaning my car.

Cleaner
I tried the Boater's EDGE on my ATV and the front of my pick-up truck. It cleaned up the ATV very well. I sprayed it on and used a rag to wipe the surface clean. There were many different kinds of "dirt" on the unit including grease, road tar and just soil. It took it off with wiping. In some cases as with the tar, it required heavy rubbing.I decided to try the EDGE on the front end of my truck which was covered with bugs and some small specks of tar. I was amazed that it took off the bugs easily and the tar with some scrubbing. I then used it inside the truck on the dash and seats. The dash was cleaned up quickly. I sprayed some of the EDGE on the seats, after all they are all made from some kind of plastic, and with some scrubbing it took out some stains that I have had for a long time. It also took off the bugs on the windshield without too much work. I was glad that it has no strong or obnoxious smell. I used it straight from the spray bottle.

clean boats, bikes, cars, showers and more
This cleaner can be used on so many different surfaces. Need to clean leather, go for it. Need to clean fiberglass, go for it. Need to remove dead bugs off your car, go for it. This is a cleaner than can be used indoors, outdoors, on boats, on rv's, on cars and trucks. It pretty much works on most surfaces. It is amazing how quickly it removes love bugs. If you have ever been driving in the love bug season, which is twice a year in Florida, they hit the car and windshield and before you can clean them off, they are baked on with the intense heat from the sun. I am really thankful for this product!
