Protects the wood
Where the deck is dried out and needs protection from the sun and weather it works real well soaks into the wood and brings it back to life works well on a paint sprayer to put down a film where you need it quick and easy that way

Dries quickly and goes on so nicely. I like the way it makes my wood look and it even smells pleasing. So far it seems to be working well. I’ll update once my garden beds have been sitting out for a year.

Was what was expected
I did not like the plastic packaging but understand metal is much heavier. With the way things are thrown around in shipping, surprised it didn't tear or leak, there was no protection for it.

Yep. It's Linseed Oil.
This Item arrived intact and not leaking, which surprised me since the packaging seemed a little lightweight for such a heavy item.It's linseed oil, and applies and performs exactly as it's supposed to. I am trying for an eco-friendly protectant for an outdoor walking bridge, so I first charred the wood, then dipped the planks in a tub of this linseed oil. Very satisfying. I will update the review after I see how it looks and changes over time.Just be careful when applying. All my dogs loved this stuff and lapped it up off the wet boards. They had the runs for the next two days.

Goes on easy, looks great!
Fast three day delivery from across the country! This was by far the smartest move for refinishing my front and back porches. I mixed it with 1/3rd mineral spirits and 2/3rds oil and It goes on very easy. Boiled linseed oil (BLO) is recommended to have three coats on outdoor wood, but you can slop it on easily and it dries very quickly. The wood drinks it up like water in the desert. It brings out the grain beautifully and appears to repel water very well. Though they recommend reapplying yearly, it will be an easy and quick job to get this beautiful result. You won't be disappointed!
