Works as it should, can control with app which is huge. Very bright, but needs to be close to the subject. If you use it in the proper conditions it is great. If you expect it to light up a city block it will not. For run & gun photo or vid it’s 100% worth it.

Fun little lights and very easy to link with the app for goole or apple.

I needed a light that was small, light in weight and able to change to the various colors I needed to be creative in my photography vision. Aputure MC fit my budget as well. The Lume panel goes brighter, but the magnet on this little guy makes my life a lot easier. Very happy with my purchase.

The Aputure MC is a Wonderful little light. From the thoughtful design of the slip-on diffusion pillow to the instant RGB tunability, there are many things to appreciate. The app is pretty straight forward and makes working with multiple MC's easy. These are great to add some color / texture / movement in small spaces. I wish the internal battery life were longer and I would highly recommend picking up a long USB A to C cable (10' ?) for each one of these if you plan on using these in setups running longer than an hour. Adding a high amperage USB power strip is probably a good for more than one MC. If you become more invested in the system there are multi-light kits an wireless charging options. I played with a friend's MC and in about 5 minutes was ordering 2 more of these for my kit... and subsequently have 2 more, now. RECOMMEND!

I've had an old MC for years and loved it. The Pro is just that much better. The menu with the dial is much quicker to use. I do wish the power button was a switch instead.
