Suzuki Samurai,Sidekick, X-90 & Vitara (86-01) Haynes Manual (USA) (Paperback) 2nd Edition

I bought this as a birthday present for a friend with an early 90's Suzuki sidekick. Outside of random youtube tutorials, this has been the best resource for hard to pin down random issues that have popped up. A very useful resource, and a great coffee table book if you're looking for more conversation starters about your quirky car.

Manual is spot on. Everything I’ve referred to it for, has been spot on.

I have a 97 Sidekick JLX Sport with the 1.8L engine. This manual does not cover the 1.8L engine. It is still useful for general info but I'm disappointed since the description says it covers all the sidekick models and it just doesn't. The manual I need is unobtanium from Haynes too so I got that going for me. Caveat Emptor.

The manual is about 90% accurate with omissions and inaccuracy throughout.Page 0-4 for example shows a 1986 Suzuki samurai,except it's a Geo Tracker which is nothing like a Samurai. My guess is the book covers too many vehicles and suffers from that.The book is a good starting point for basic repair and some tips,but for anything major use the internet for fact checking, Or buy an actual factory manual for your car if you can find one and afford it.
