Since child has to write many words for each exercise it provides the child with enough knowledge to keep him interested in the book, because he is finally learning what nouns are. We are still in the first pages on nouns, but so far, so good. I see it as a good toll to learn and glancing at it through the pages, I know he will catch up with what he needs to catch up now. The child that is using this book is 7 but he is going to 2nd grade. They did give him lessons on this on first grade, but did not learn to differentiate, so, we are catching up on his vacations

This is perfect easy quick review to really solidify students knowledge of parts of speech and review those critical ELA concepts.

She Loves the book

My G kids are home schooled and this book with fun activities was a great supplement for learning. I have found that my G kids love having colorful pages of work. Computers get dual .. just watching. The oil gives them hands on. Plus practices writing.

Good book - challenging in some areas, which I like. Great for a 1st grader learning nouns and verbs.

Breaks down each section. Really explains well what each part of a sentence does.

I like these books. They are inexpensive and focus on a topic. The problem is that I find grammatical errors in the worksheets. Not a lot, but at least one or two. It is a grammar book!
