Dickies Juniors Uni Double-Buttoned Twill Skirt- School Uniform

I really like the styling of this skirt and it runs true to size. It came out of the dryer relatively wrinkle-free and held its shape after two washes. The fabric has a bit of stretch that makes it very forgiving.Unfortunately, I have to give it two stars because the third time I wore it, it ripped up the back. I’m really bummed out because the skirt was lovely and comfortable while it lasted!

This is my second one of these skirts. I'm a 40 plus-year-old mom and I spend a lot of time at outdoor sporting events with my kids in the summer which tend to be pretty hot. I love that this skirt isn't too short. It comes to my knees and is very flattering. I'm a pear shape and wear a size 10. and I'm 5'7 Love this skirt!

After trying the women's sizes 6 and 4 in this skirt (very slight variation - two hook closures vs the two buttons on the junior size) - and having to send them back because they were huge in the waist and hips, I decided to try a junior size. The junior 7 is a perfect lineup with a women's 6 and it is contoured so that it fits the waist and hips. True - it is an 18 inch length vs 20. I am petite (5'2") so it looks fine and not like I am wearing my teenager's skirt. The fabric is decent enough for casual wear and it is quite comfortable. I bought it for travelling and then ended up with three. If you are slim and petite this is the skirt to go with.

I like this skirt because it fits me much better than a Misses size 12, my usual size, which always seems to be cut smaller and higher in the waist. The larger cut and lower rise of the waist, length and functional pockets of this skirt are all great. Because I like it so much, I purchased it in khaki, navy blue and black.

I got many compliments when I wore this and several ladies asked me where I got it. It is comfortable, durable, and looks nice.

Cute skirt, just right amount of stretch in material. About 3-4 inches above the knee. Only thing is I had to return first skirt because it was way too big, I ordered 2 sizes smaller and it fit perfect.

First, let me get this put of the way because it's the first thng I always look for in clothing reviews...I am 5'4, 125 pounds, a bit pear shaped making finding flattering skirts a huge ridiculous feat.But I found it in this skirt. It Hangs to just above my knee and is very flattering.I wear it with blazers, I tuck in blouses without it being lumpy and dumpy. The material is stiff without being a straight jacket for your legs. It still stretches just enough to move comfortably with you.I was so happy to finally find a flattering skirt that I bought one in every color. Crazy, yes! But to me finding a flattering skirt is as hard as finding jeans that flatter. It is the holy grail.I also wear it on the weekends but less so. To me it works perfect for work.So there you go. I've never heard of this brand, find their marketing a bit odd...which is why I'm reaching out in this review. Works for, let us say, mature juniors too! Cheers and best wishes.

I recently purchased the Dickies Women's Twill Skirt in khaki and in black. I order a size 10 (which is what I normally wear in pants) The fit was ok in the waist, however the leg area was very loose fitting and kind of tented? I thought I would give the Juniors style a try to see if the fit is better. I order a size 11 in the juniors style and fits amazing! The thigh / leg area fits great and is very flattering. Fits more like a pencil skirt but not as tight. Very nice straight cut from hip and thigh area. I order the navy first, and loved it so much that I ordered the khaki. Will be ordering the black soon. If you are looking for a more streamlined fit instead of a relaxed fit, order the juniors style. If you are looking for a more loose fit that leaves quite a bit of room in the thigh and leg area, the women's version will do the trick.
