Can I use these instead of Calgon tablets in with my washing? Calgon is so expensive!

Water Softener tablets

Product came in a 25Kg thick plastic bag that feels very durable & once opened is easy to seal (I just cut one corner off to dispense tablets) using sticky tape.No reason to mark down any aspects of this item.
