Cute, and boils water quickly
Flush flat bottom makes excellent contact with stovetop surface and boils water quickly. Plus the cow motif is really, really cute. The whistles in the two nostrils blow slightly different pitches... Sort of a "Moo..." Very different (pleasantly so) than any other tea pot we've owned

the colors are a perfect fit in my kitchen. The "whistle" sounds more like a distant car alarm. It is certainly different.

Gift for a cow lover.
I personally like that it was well made. Not cheap looking or flimsy at at. Tea kettle was heavy but not too heavy once the water was in the kettle. My friend just adored it, she really did. It was so nice that she couldn't decide if she should use it or just display it. Was very happy with this purchase. If you are or know a lover of cow motif, this is a great gift.

Best Christmas present for our parents-2013
As all the family gathered to unwrap the gifts, and wonder who of the four siblings nailed the coiffetted best 2013 gift spot, this teakettle nailed it! Our parents are retired dairy farmers, if you can ever retire from that life. They live in an old farmhouse and collect anythink/everything related to cows; this fit perfectly right down to the bell around the neck. My parents thought it was just the greatest thing and I thought that AND the price was wonderful for something for people who are difficult to buy for and the price on this site was the lowest as compared to other sites for this same product; a true winner for the gift giver and receiver-WINNER, WINNER!

Does not whistle!!!!
I'm very disappointed with this tea kettle. It does not whistle! We took it apart but it still does not whistle!!!! I brought it as a gift. Very disappointed 😞😔

Spout leaks and drips
No matter how careful you pour water from the kettle, it creates a puddle. Don't know why this is. No other kettle has done this. Also, the gizmo that makes it whistle, fell off into my coffee cup. There were no instructions stating that his gizmo had to be screwed in. I have yet to figure out how to reattach!It's cute, but kind of a pain to use.
