Amazon EssentialsMen's Midweight Puffer Vest

Have you ever felt like you've won the lottery even though you didn't buy a ticket but instead bought an Amazon Essentials vest? That's how I feel right now. This things punches so far above its price point it's hard to see how they can do it. The collar is soft fleece, the insulation weight is more than expected, the exterior pockets are fleece lined and it has an inside pocket. Sure there's no drawstring at the waist and the pockets don't have zippers (a snap or velcro do that job). I DON'T CARE. The fit is great, the cost is right and the initial quality seems legit. Buy some for your friends, enemies, neighbors and loved ones. I cannot say enough good things about this and even if it only lasts a year or two, it'll be worth every one of those few pennies I paid.

I was hesitant to purchase this vest as I've always purchased ones with snaps vs. zippers. In recent purchases with zippers, the zippers were effeminate and on the left side. Not this vest, good zipper, and on the right side. The workmanship is excellent, materials first class. and it is comfortable and warm. Highly recommend.

Very nice vest sewn and zips well. The top of the zipper area likes to stand up poking me in the neck. It will not fold down and stay down. Irritating, to say the least. On really cold, windy days I zip it all the way up which eliminates the problem.

Great quality and value for money, comparable to $100 dollar vest. Thick and lightweight at same time, perfect for professional settings or office environments. Love the added pockets.

Sizing: maybe a little bit on the small side of being a medium. That said, fits snug around the belly, fine around the chest over a base layer and a shirt. I’m 5’10” 175#.Insulation is even and thick enough. I prefer the way this is built to the sewn thru puffer vest style where each seam has no insulation at it. I’d prefer a zippered inside pocket rather than Velcro and the same for the handwarmer pockets rather than the single snap, but both work ok for their purpose.This works well for layering under my main winter coat and other jackets and shells.I’m going to strictly follow the washing instructions so I don’t wreck this the way I did with my bargain (but great) puffer vest that had its insulation bunch up inside it from me not taking washing instructions seriously.

Like the style and quality of this lightweight vest. Easy to pop on and head out. Looks nice after many washings.
