Good for eggwash and such

This brush is excellent for baking uses. I use them to brush pans with am even coat of butter, brush egg whites on bread and pastries and they have been easy to clean in super hot soapy water and no shedding!!! I don't like the silicone brushes as I feel they don't hold onto the butter/oil/egg wash well, leading to drips and overloading in one area and nothing in another. The old school fiber brushes shed like crazy, which was a pain. These do need to be put back into shape after washing, but it's easy and quick to do. Whatever shape you have them in while drying is the shape they hold.

I use this to brush on egg wash to my homemade bread dough, before sprinkling with sesame seeds. (Also bought the sesame seeds on Amazon,) i do try to buy less from China, and this brush says made in Mexico. It does the job i bought it for!

I anticipate that this will last way beyond my old one. I really like the bristles on this pastry brush!

don't use in a hot pan as the nylon bristles melt

I bought this brush specifically for baking. I have a special cookie form that needs to be coated with flour before using it on the cookie dough so it doesn't stick. This brush was exactly what I was looking for.
