UPDATED REVIEW: Replacement came, and straight off the rip I had a better feeling. The original came in a loose bag, whereas this one was more like shrink wrapped. The light itself was in the little white wrapper it was supposed to be in. Original was more than likely just a mix up at the amazon warehouse.The light is BRIGHT. For how small it is and the fact it's rechargeable, it's a perfect "on the go" light. Yeah, batteries lose their oomf over time, but that's nothing a powerbank can't fix. Diffusers work as they should. Just a GREAT light. Especially for the price.(original review) Light wasn't turning on, went to check an amazon review to see how it works. This is when things started going weird. Amazon review showed the light itself coming in a white bag inside the box; mine didn't have this. Instead it was just laying in the box. I also didn't get the cable that it's supposed to come with. On top of it all, there's some weird... substance.. on the back of the light and I'm genuinely not sure what it is. Won't take a charge, won't turn on. If you're looking for a $50 paperweight, this is the item for you!

It just what I needed for my camera the light is bright to help when there are limited light source. And RGB is just as bright with the different functions the added soft case and honeycomb case is a bonus to have to help with V-log for social media . Glad I purchased it. Here are pictures of the light box on the bright setting which is 100% to the lowest setting which is 1% he last pictures are from bright to lowest setting. 3 picture is with the soft case and the 4 picture with the honeycomb case.

Works great and is very convenient to add color to any scene. I have access to a lot of other wired RGB lights but they are a pain to set up due to power cords. Having a battery powered light is sooo convenient!I wish it was easier to select color - the current design has a rocker switch that lets you cycle through the colors. It works but slow and not intuitive. It would be sooo much better to have a dedicated encoder wheel for color - spin fast to get to the approximate color and slower to really fine tune the color. The current wheel does double duty as the menu navigation so it isn’t always available to set the color, unless the menu is on the right selection first. And it would have been nice to have a 1/4-20 inset on three sides instead of just one.Still it’s a nice light and staying in my camera bag!

Works great all kinds of different colors

I bought this to help record behind the scene videos and WOW. I was so impressed. The light is so bright and I love that you can change the kelvin (white balance) on the light to make it warmer or cooler.

And somehow, the battery seems to be null and void. It’s been sitting safely in an airtight container for two years almost, and won’t charge, or turn on. Makes zero sense. At first I was happy based on YouTube reviews, but this is straight garbage if it’s losing its ability to even turn on all together at the third time of use. Who cares if it’s been sitting for two years, in an airtight, dry container. Aren’t these things built to last any longer past 1 year? 😒
