After 11 years of wrestling with the cheap, shedding tree I bought my first year with a real job, I finally upgraded and got this one! My husband is a fan of the look of real trees but not the hassle of dealing with them, so he was also pleased with the tree. It’s super easy to set up, and it doesn’t take much to make it look pretty real. We went with the unlit version because I know so many people who say the lights die after a few years, and at this price point, I want something that will last. We don’t have a ton of space for a tree in our house, so the slimmer size was perfect. It still felt perfect for the space and looked realistic. I would absolutely recommend this tree to others!

I was looking for a tree that was smaller in scale and came with lightsIt was easy to assemble and fit the need it could do with a few more branches tho’!

We debated on whether or not to spend this kind of money on a tree and are definitely glad we did. I was pleasantly surprised that we didn't have any needles on the floor. The needles on the tree are very realistic looking and thick. Nice bag to store, easy to fluff.

The PVC in section 1 of the tree is defective 12 to 13 pieces fell to the floor while being gently assembled. The tree is very sparse and the PVC fragile, especially in section 1 (bottom section). The tree is unattractive, thin, sparsely made, very disappointed by Balsam Hill quality.

I love our tree. We bought this in December 2020 and we're in love with it. Fast forward to 2022, our lights started going out. We have changed the lights but they will not light back up. So we spent a ton of money with a tree that didn't last. I'm really sad because they're beautiful.

I bought this tree originally on Amazon for $600+ dollars, then it went on sale at Balsam Hill the next day for $449. I had to return the tree to Amazon and reorder. I just set the tree up for the holidays and what dissatisfaction! You have to fluff every branch of the tree and painstakingly arrange all the branches. It still appears as if there should be more filler branches or thicker branches. Had I not gotten the tree at a better price and be stuck with this tree at $600+ I would be very unhappy. I hope after decorating it fills the gaps. I would not buy this tree again.

The description is not anything how it looks. The tree looks like plastic.

The lights dim and flicker. There are broken and missing limbs throughout the tree. The limbs are not strong enough to hold ornaments. The top of the tree has a sunken section where the limbs are too short to use. Upon contacting customer service we were told there is nothing they can do to help. Do not buy anything from Balsam Hill.
