I've used these pellets from juvenile to adult. ALL of my axolotls eat these. I've raised several clutches of axies (over 100) on these pellets and have them pellet trained before they go to new homes. These pellets have everything in them that the axolotls need. My babies thrive on these and I will not buy any other kind.

My newts reacted immediately when I put this in the tank. They seem to really like it. Check the ingredients, it beats the floating pellets of old. This works well when live and/or frozen are not convenient.My only concern is keeping it fresh. I bought one pound which should last for a while. Maybe I'll vacuum seal and freeze half of it.

A bit pricey but a good product and my Baby Bichirs love it.

My four axolotls eat these enthusiastically. Of course, they will eat anything. Worms, pellets, bugs, plastic plants, my fingers, each other. But they do eat these and they're more convenient than worms for every meal. Now, I can relegate worms to treat duty and give them a much more convenient staple. Also, it's much more convenient to buy this a pound at a time instead of getting a whole commercial sized sack. They were shipped quickly and showed up several days earlier than Amazon said they would. Recommended.

My axolotls won’t eat this.

I have an axolotl that is a pretty easy eater (just hates earthworms) and he really loves this stuff. I bought it because our local pet stores are supposedly having issues with all of their worm orders coming in dead due to the heat, so I decided my guy needed another source of constant food in case this ever happens again. I'll probably purchase the bigger sized pellets next time because he seems to need a ton of these to fill up, and they can be quite messy and make the tank dirty a lot quicker than the usual worms, but aside from that, great product. They're fairly firm at first but soften up very quickly once wet.

My axolotls LOVED these. I do a mixture of these and earthworms for feeding. But, since some of my axolotls will only eat pellets, I decided to try something different than my usual brand.Even my super picky axolotl spits these out less than normal, so I am super satisfied!

I like it. At first my Mexican salamander didn't want it, because he was use to fish. But I switched because the fish was nipping him. As long as I drop the food in front of him. He will eat it. It doesn't cloud the water up or make my house smell. My goldfish love the food!
