TacFire® Tactical Gun Rail GoPro Camera Mount, Picatinny Weaver Compatible

Solid product with all-metal precision construction. Good stocking-stuffer for GoPro owners that have a pic-rail rifle and who work mall security.. Poor lock-up on Pic rail front-to-back. Not very easy or quick to install/remove from Pic rail. This product is NOT suitable for use on handguns due to the high shock on the GoPro. Bonus: Even if it did work, it does not fit Glock because of their non-standard rail mount.The GoPro would normally mount on the underside of a weapon, which makes the video upside down. Maybe there is a way to fix that in the GoPro settings(?). The main use for this product is getting down-the-barrel action-shots of tactical rifle competitions or hunting with an AR-15. In real life, GoPro is far too fragile to hang on a gun that isn't range toy or safe queen. Also, it's WAY too heavy to hang this mount, another GoPro mount, AND the GoPro all on the shooty end of an already-heavy rifle. "Home invaders? Zombies? OK, hang on while I fiddle with the GoPro settings so I can post an amazing video which will be used against me in court, assuming I live past the next 5 minutes."If you really want to put a GoPro on your rifle, this is probably the best product for that purpose. However, unless you are a tacticool ninja operating operator on an operation to operate in your mom's basement, you should probably leave this at home and carry an extra mag or more water instead..

I needed a solution to mount my Gopro 8 to my crossbow. I bought a plastic mount that ended up breaking and making lose my camera in the woods. I decided to try this product next and it worked great. It was an excellent fit and I had no issues with my Gopro mounting right in. I have been able to record some deer action so I am pleased with this product.

Doesn't fit Go Pro clip very snug. Wiggles a lot when moving or shaking. It also had rusted screws. Cleaned it off, but still wasn't very pleased with a product having rusty screws on it. Still use it and works fine, just loose.

This is a solid mount. It will work well for applications on a quad rail carbine. Knock off clip-mounts will likely have front-to-back play. This is one of the time when you want a GoPro clip-mount with the safety plug. The only complaint I have with this mount is regarding the tolerance between the bolts and the amount of inset into the grooves. The configuration these bolts are in will cause the threads of the front bolt to dig into the bottom front edge of a Glock 17 (shown in picture) which only has a single allowance for a bolt. I will be using it without the front bolt to avoid further damage to the pistol.

This is what I EXPECTED.For these people who have 4 session, YES it will fit.Q: Is it worth to buy it?A: If you want to see yourself in video so YES and it look so SICK.

So the adapter itself is pretty decent and the GoPro fits perfect in it. One of the problems is the quality of the screws (already rusty) which I could still live with but the main issue is that the screws won’t line up on my Crossbow’s rail. I thought all Picatinny rails should be dimensional the same!? Obviously not. So either don’t buy it for your crossbow or get a different adapter.

I have used several gopro gun mount and this is the best one so far ! Solid mount ! Great machining on the edge , slide over my gopro and shoot on my AR15 at the range , hold the recoil with no problem . Check the video when I got back home, it was like someone hold the camera instead of mounting it on a rifle ! Great piece for the price , you won't go wrong with it ! I will post the video that from my gopro later on .

Poor tolerance and alittle difficult to install but hold once mounted. Otherwise great buy.
