good model although is an old kit reboxed a lot of work needed to make a good model

There is a very nice illustration of a BEA comet on the box,with those distinctive oval portholes glistening away,so imagine the disappointment, when you open the box only to find that Airfix has now deleted the portholes on this model and that the window detail is now on the transfer sheet and depicted in a dull and non-descript black.Its very similar to the disappointment with the Airfix 707 when the transfer sheet had the distinctive BOAC lettering and speedbird depicted in a dull yellow rather than the original Gold.Airfix authenticity seems to be very questionable as does the doubling of the price of online membership to the Airfix club,and increased no. of flying hours needed,rendering membership cost ineffective.
