I wasn't sure what to expect from these covers when I saw them. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. They do not have thick padding, but there is enough to make a difference when around the bike pedal.There is an elastic strap on the inside to slide over the pedal. That holds in cover in place, which makes folding the edges over the top to velcro them together very easy to accomplish.As I keep my bicycle in my basement, it is great to have something that will help keep me from hitting my shins as I walk past. The covers help when I carry the bike up the stairs to go outside with and they help when putting the bike in my car if traveling somewhere with it.I would order these again. Should they not stand the test of time, I will update this review.

The covers are pretty simple design, but they can use a little bit of improvement. If there was a flap that covers the edge of the pedal that folds into the Velcro closure that would make these a five star. Right now if you look at the pictures, you’ll see that the edge of the pedal is going to be a little bit exposed especially if you have oversized petals on a large mountain bike and you could end up still scraping the paint on your car taking the bike on and off the rack or the roof. Overall, they are still an improvement than just having exposed pedals and it should still not deter you from buying these. One final note is that you could also tell in the picture there is a strap that goes around the pedal that holds the cover in place so it won’t fall off.

Pedal covers are something I always wanted but never knew existed. They help in a few scenarios, especially if aluminum/metal pedals are being used. Likewise with traction pins for flats.One, for putting my bike in my car. I can't count how many times I've scratched the hatch interior or opening because of bike pedals. This is such an easy solution.Two, when using my bike rack with two bikes, it is easy to scratch the other bike with the pedals. My OCD gets scared and i will throw a sock on each pedal. Socks work, but these are much more convenient and less ridiculous looking.Three, these are good for storing pedals when not using them. If you swap pedals often, such as between clipless and flats, these help prevent cuts in your bag or wherever your store your pedals.Note: make sure you measure your pedals. These are for larger flats.Overall, the piece of mind you get from using these are well worth it!

We use a hitch mount platform bike rack to transport our three electric mountain bikes. The pedals/crank ted to move/spin and start vibrating against the bike next to it, damaging the paint. These pedal sleeves are perfect to prevent damage from the pedals rubbing against the other bikes. They fit well over the platform pedals that we use. Highly recommended to prevent damage to both your vehicle and your bikes during transport!

I have several folding bikes that I can easily stow into my back of my SUV. My concern each time are the dreaded pedals! Even though mine fold up to save space, they still can create a nasty gash on unprotected shins. I am taking from experience of course. The likelihood of the pedals damaging the trunk compartments is low but I feel more at ease they are covered with these neoprene sleeves.The pedal sleeves are simple to install. I cannot attest if it will work on pedals with cages though.4.5 Stars!

I got these because I was tired of my back trunk getting scratched by my pedals. The fabric is really strong, sturdy, great stitching. Will last for years. It has velcro for a tight fit and it has an elastic inside that goes fitted on the pedal. I have some wide mtb pedals, so the elastic was a bit small, but I made it work. Otherwise works great with regular sized pedal. The listing is right on with pictures and sizing. Overall great price, fast shipping. Super easy to install.

There's not much to it, other than these covers work as expected in preventing damages while transporting my e-bike from the pedals.Overall, I do recommend this item...
