I have an old Dell XPS 8300, where the onboard network card is acting up. It works sometimes and doesn't work sometimes. I am using this old desktop as a Plex server and need reliable connection. This Network card was easy to install just like any PCIe-based card. After installing and starting up the computer, Windows 11 automatically detected it without the need of installing any drivers. It came with an installation CD and a bracket, however, I didn't need to use any of it.
